When starting your trip to hell, you are supposed to be equipped with one
d-gun and with 20 warheads in charge. You may use your fists as well.
Anything else listed below waits to be found.

1] FIST
   Ammotype: none required

     You are in serious problems when you have to switch to these!!!

2] D-GUN:
   Ammotype: warheads
   4 warheads / 20 warheads per box
   max. 400 warheads w. backpack
     This is your standard weapon. Never mind it's slow fireing. It takes out
     nearly any human within one shot.
     It shots warheads. Warheads are 30mm bullets, which detonate when
     hitting their target. The good thing is that they don't do any harm 
     when hitting walls, so you do not hurt yourself when treating this gun
     like a maniac. The warheads explode within your enemys body and rip 
     them to pieces.

3] MINIGUN:
   Ammotype: bullets
   10 bullets per clip / 50 bullets per box
   max. 400 bullets w. backpack
     Nearly unchanged version of the original DOOM-chaingun.
     Increased firering rate to compansate the tougher enemys of DooM II.

9] GLASS SHARD LAUNCHER:
   Ammotype: bullets
   10 bullets per clip / 50 bullets per box
   max. 400 bullets w. backpack
     Shoots out shards of glass to mow down enemies. With Zdoom Mode, the
     shots even rip through enemies! Cool!

4] DOUBLE D-GUN:
   Ammotype: warheads
   4 warheads / 20 warheads per box
   max. 200 warheads w. backpack
     Press 4 to use the bigger brother of the normal D-GUN.
     Sends nearly anyone to the ground within few shots. Best to use against
     slow moving enemies. Takes out any human opponent in one shot.
     It's advanced fireing rate and the 30mm warheads makes this gun the best
     fighting device for close combat. See the guts and gibs fly!

5] SNIPER RIFLE:
   Ammotype: Pellets
   10 single pellets / 50 pellets per box
   max. 400 pellets w. backpack
     Do not underestimate this gun just because of it's small size.
     Select this gun whenever you see an enemies standing or moving at long
     distance. This rifle is the most accurate of all firearms. It has got
     no scattering. But it requires some aiming. This Rifle is not build for
     rapid fire. Make one shot, lift your finger, aim again and then shoot
     again. It will come to a quick end when storming into a room full of
     monsters with this one on your hands.

6] POWER SHOTGUN:
   Ammotype: shotgun shells
   4 shotgun shells / 20 shells per box
   max. 100 shells w. backpack
     This is probably the best all around weapon. Use this much of the time
     as it is very powerful. Double the power of usuall ones, but uses twice
     the ammo. Much faster and much more accurate than the super shotgun you
     know from DOOM II. Great for taking out hard to kill enemies, even on mid
     range distance.

7] FIRE IMPACTOR:
   Ammotype: shotgun shells
   4 shotgun shells / 20 shells per box
   max. 100 shells w. backpack
     Some sort of mixture of a shotgun and a BFG. The most powerful of this set.

8] CHAINSAW:
   Ammotype: none required (just do not forget to feed it)

     Only changes are that it profits from berserk-mode. Good for tight encounters,
     around corners and so on...
