 C // VIDEO CARDS
_______________________________________________________________________

	Additional & Re-Tested Video Cards

	a | nVidia
	b | ATi Technologies
	c | Matrox

a | NVIDIA | www.nvidia.com

Chipset: TnT / ALL GeForce cards
Driver set (Win 95/98/ME): Detonator 3D | 12.41
Driver set (Win 2000): Detonator 3D | 12.41

Notes: Disable Anti-aliasing within Z: Steel Soldiers if your specific
card support this option. Anti-aliasing on the nVidia cards seriously
affects performance. No other problems reported.

b | ATi Technologies | www.atitech.com

There has been some noted problems on the ATI Mach 64 & 128 cards that
either display incorrectly or produce the error message 'no DX8 compatible
graphics card found'. Go to www.atitech.com and download the latest BETA
drivers which should fix problems reported with the ATI cards.

There has also been a noted issue on some ATI cards that landscape isn't
being displayed properly. We are working with ATI to try and find a
solution to the issue.

UPDATE 4-July-01

We have been in constant contact with ATI and we've tested some new
beta drivers that cure the problem with ATI 128 cards. We are still
working with them with regards to the Mach 64s. Not release date
for the drivers yet, though we shall post them on our own website
as soon as they are available.

c | Matrox | www.matrox.com

Disable 'mipmapping' on the G200 if there are problems with the shadows.
No other problems reported.

 D // SOUND CARDS
_______________________________________________________________________

The Diamond Monster Sound II MX300 can cause the game to freeze
periodically ingame. We are still currently investigating the issue.

Also some onboard soundchips (shown as SB compatible or a Legacy device
in Windows Device Manager) can cause the game to play very slowly or even
freeze. We do not recommend using onboard soundcards.
