Enemy Infestation Official Patch (v1.195) 98/11/06

This is the first official patch for Enemy Infestation.  You need this
patch if you are running v1.194, the original release.
The version number can be read from the in-game menu panel, underneath the
EI logo on the right hand side.


HOW TO INSTALL

If you haven't just unzipped these files into the EI directory, you can
copy EI.EXE into the directory where the game was originally installed
manually, overwriting the existing EI.EXE.
If something goes wrong with the patch you can always copy the original
exe back from the CD-ROM, in the EI directory.
To make sure the patch worked correctly, start the game the normal way,
and make sure the version number listed is v1.195.


LIST OF BUG-FIXES

Save Game fixes:
* Some alien behaviour settings were not saved with the savegame
  (affects bezerk behaviour, after killing the queen)
* Enemy settings now saved: fixes Treachery bug where Vivienne could not be
  targetted if you had to re-load a saved game).  Note: You cannot complete
  this level with any old saved games, you must start this scenario again.
  
Note: the changes to the save-game will not effect any current saved games.
They can still be loaded as normal.  New save games can still be read with
the old version of the game.

Other fixes:
* Multiplayer lobby/heat launch fixes
* Fixed bug which prevented Martial Law playing properly as a multiplayer
  level (players would lose control over civilians)
* Certain BOG racks would dispense guns that changed the effect of the weapon
  incorrectly.


ENHANCEMENTS

* Weapon effect description is displayed on first use (and sent to all users
  in a multiplayer game).
* Med beds now have a maximum healing time for all characters (maximum of 30
  seconds from zero health).
* Reduced size of door locker selection (harder to hit by accident).
* New (M)ove action button.  Use it to force move people into crowded areas.
* Doors stay open for longer, and are less likely to close on waiting players.
