PLEASE NOTE: This patch only fixes an installer problem, which 
prevented the patch from being installed on some foreign systems. If 
you have previously downloaded and successfully installed the 1.1 
patch, then you will not need to download this update. Next to the 
installer, there is no difference between this patch and the 
previously released 1.1 patch.

What does the upgrade do?

The update primarily addresses multi-player stability issues 
discovered after the release of Call to Power II. We wanted to 
resolve these issues as quickly as possible to ensure an acceptable 
multi-player experience for all users.

BUG FIXES:

-  Resolved several general multiplayer issues.
-  Addressed multiplayer synchronization issues.
-  Issues with nukes in network games have been resolved.
-  Huge improvements to multiplayer stability
-  Resolved some AI issues regarding diplomacy
-  Message occurring when a Wonder is nearly complete is
   now triggered earlier.
-  Various general and stability issues with Scenarios have
   been addressed.
-  Fixed corrupted save game bug.
-  Always terminates a units sound effects when it dies.
-  Added auto-center for bombardment
-  Fixed lawsuits against franchises
-  Cant rush buy capitalization/infrastructure
-  Fixed propagation of city defensive bonus in net games
-  Made sure diplomatic proposals in network games execute
   at the same point on every machine.

GENERAL:

  Saved games may not be compatible between patched and non-patched 
  versions of Call to Power 2. The patch must be used on an original 
  version of the game, with all the original files. This upgrade 
  will work for American, English, German, French, Spanish and 
  Italian CD-ROM versions of CTP2. This patch upgrades your copy of 
  CTP2 to version 1.1. After installing this upgrade, you will only 
  be able to join multi-player games with people who have also 
  installed this upgrade.
