Big Game Hunter Patch 1.1

Before you can install this patch, it is important to close
all other applications which you may have open.  These include
items such as First Aid 98, Norton CrashGuard, PC Medic
and other diagnostic utilities.  

This patch is for all versions less than 1.22 that do not have an 
NC in the Version # .  If there is no version # in the About Box,
or the Version # is less than 1.22, this Patch is for you.  

To install this patch:
Click on setup.exe in the directory where you placed the 
extracted program and follow these directions:

On the Welcome screen, click on Next.
On the Read Me Information screen, click on Next.
On the Choose Destination Location screen, check 
to make sure the Destination Directory indicated on 
the screen is the directory where your original program 
is actually installed.  If you are not sure, click on Browse 
to find the directory where the program is installed.  
Once you have identified the proper directory, click on Next.
Game Patch will install.
On the Setup Complete screen, click on 
Yes, I want to restart my computer now and then click on Finish.

After Setup is complete, you may delete 
the files in the Temporary folder.


This Patch addresses the following issues:
Ver 1.22

Run Time Error 13, Run Time Error 364, or Run Time Error 402:  This
 patch should correct these errors.  Download and
 install the patch by double-clicking on the appropriate file.
 Check the Packaging or the About Box of your program for the name
 Cabela's.  If your version of Big Game Hunter is sponsored by
 Cabela's, download the patch "bghp11.exe".  If your version
 does not carry Cabela's sponsorship, download the patch
 "bghp11nc.exe".  Downloading and installing this patch will
 automatically correct Run Time 13 and Run Time 402 errors.
  It also alters the Big Game Hunter Configuration Utility so that
 you can disable the Introductory, Preview, and Tracking Videos, 
 the source of Run Time Error 364.  To disable these videos, go to
 the Headgames folder on your Start menu and select the Big Game
 Hunter Configuration Utility.  Check the box "Disable Movies".

NOTE:
Run Time Error 75:  A Windows system corruption has occurred affecting either
 the sound or video drivers in your current configuration.  To correct
 this problem, reinstall Windows 95.  If you are uncertain about how to
 reinstall Windows 95, contact either the manufacturer of your system
 hardware or Microsoft.


ALL USERS should disable the Auto Install feature on their CD Rom
 drives to prevent Big Game Hunter from partially reinstalling when
 the disk is inserted.  To disable Auto Install, follow these steps.
1.  Click on My Computer
2.  Click on System
3.  Click on the Device Manager Tab
4.  Click on your CD Rom Drive
5.  Click on your particular CD Rom (ex. Mitsumi CD Rom)
6.  Click on the Settings Tab
7.  Remove the check from the box called "Auto Insert Notification"
8.  Close all windows
