MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Windows 95/98/Me/XP/2000
Pentium II/Celeron 333 or higher
64MB RAM
CD-ROM drive
Video card capable of 800x600 (16-bit)
Windows-compatible sound card

NOTE: If you are running Windows 95, you may need to install
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 or higher.

SCREEN RESOLUTION
Airborne Assault is designed to run at one of three resolutions: 800x600, 1024x768
or 1280x1024. However, you can run the game at any resolution supported by your video
card, as long as the screen height is 600 pixels or more. To do this you must change
the shortcut used when the game is launched:
 - Right click on the "Start" button on the task bar and select "Explore".
 - Expand the "Programs" folder
 - Locate and select the "Airborne Assault" folder.
 - Duplicate one of the existing Airborne Assault shortcuts. To do this, click on it
with the right mouse button, select "Copy", then right click on an empty space in the
   same area and select "Paste".
 - Right click on the new shortcut and select "Properties"
 - The "Target" field will contain text that ends with something like "/resolution 800x600".
Change the "800x600" to whatever resolution you want to use. For example, if you want to
run the game with the screen set to 1152 pixels wide and 864 pixels high, you would change
   it to "1152x864".
 - Click OK.
 - Launch the new shortcut and Airborne Assault will run in the resolution you have selected.

You might want to rename the shortcut afterwards to match the resolution you have selected.

MULTIPLAYER SAVED GAMES
Airborne Assault allows a multiplayer game in progress to be saved using the
"Save Game" button in the "Game" tab on the sidebar. It is only necessary for
one of the players to save the game, and either player (the host or the client)
can do it.

In a single player game, you can load a saved game via the "Load Game" button
within the game, or by choosing the "Load" button from the main menu. To
continue a saved multiplayer game, proceed as follows:
 - First ensure that both players have the saved game file. This should be
placed inside the saved-games directory on both player's machines.
 - Host a new multiplayer game and have your opponent join your game.
 - Click the "Choose Saved Game" button on the host machine, and select the
   saved game file.
 - As long as both players have the saved game file, the scenario should load
and assign each player a command to play as. Be sure that you are assigned
to the same command that you originally played as, or click the command
   buttons to swap the commands.
 - In a saved game you won't be able to change the options that were used to setup
the game originally, such as the reinforcement options, but you will be able to
see what they were set to.
 - Click "Begin Game" to start playing the game!

MANUAL ADDENDA
Airstrikes: Unused airstrikes remain available for 30 minutes rather than
20 minutes as stated in the user manual.

Command Lines: Selecting a unit you have given an order too will result
in a pale blue line being drawn from it to the unit it will be reattached
to if you use the "Reattach" button on the orders palette.

Attack Task Settings: The amount of your attack force allocated to the
reserve is now directly affected by the Aggro setting for the task.
So to maximise the number of assaulting units, set Aggro to Max.
To minimise the number set Aggro to Min.
