This patch fixes the following problems with the game:
- General stability of the game has been improved
- Several fixes for saving and loading crashes have been
implemented, including saving during cutscenes and loading a
saved game immediately after falling to death
- Quadraphonic sound has been added. We have included EAX.dll in
an additional sound DLL folder that will improve your sound
quality even without EAX effects. If you wish to use this you will
need to copy it to your Blade\Bin\Mss directory, and then delete
  the Blade\Config\sound.cfg file
- The Player 1 not declared in pj.py error has now been resolved
- Lock-up after pressing Escape and F1 simultaneously has been fixed
- Improved camera movement in close quarters
- The D3d.dll will no longer generate blue-tinted screenshots
- Several missing audio files are now in place
- Various instances of English language in foreign language versions
  have been fixed accordingly
- Addition of Gamespy service for internet play. See the link
incorporated into the game launcher for further information
- Fixed the ghost players in the dedicated server.
- Chat command implemented
- Configuration submenu included in the network menu.
- new Voodoo DLL has been included: r3dfx Voodoo 1-2.dll with the
  following fixes/improvements:
  - Starting a game now works, previously it would crash due to the
    different memory managers
  - Crashing when changing the resolution has been fixed
  - The loading screens will now resize/stretch correctly
  - Gamma settings are now saved and carried on into the following
level, (the contrast and brightness controls have not been
    implemented)
  - Mipmapping is NOT supported due to the speed problems
This DLL should only be used with Voodoo 1 and 2 cards. For other
Voodoo cards the D3d.dll should fix all the problems in the release
