This package will install version 1.26 Public Beta to your Operation Flashpoint working directory.

REQUIRED:

FULL AND ORIGINAL VERSION OF OPERATION FLASHPOINT.


HOW TO INSTALL:
===============
Insert the original Operation Flashpoint CD in your CD ROM drive and run the attached exe. It should install version 1.26 automatically to your Operation Flashpoint directory.


WHAT'S NEW
==========

Version 1.26 introduces major rework of the network code that should lead to notable improvement of multiplayer performance. There are a lot of bug fixes as well. Full list of changes see below.


KNOWN ISSUES
============

- Speed of sound problem (sound effects of gunfire are often lost or distorted)
- Horizon sky clipping (colored artifacts are displayed on the horizon)
- Ping time displayed on the server only (the ping times in the connection screen are not displayed on clients)

Issues will be resolved in version 1.27 and above.
