Annihilator Timedemo for Quake 3 - ReadMe

Recorded with the full-version 1.11 from December 28th 1999.

This timedemo was recorded to simulate a worst-case-scenario.
It is a part of a multiplayer-match with 15 bots in Q3Tourney3,
with cheats enabled, immediatly respawns, use of weapons which
normaly don't appear in this map, and without bot-chat.
The result is a current attack to the game's character from
often more than 2 opponents at a time with Lighning Guns, Rocket
Launchers, BFG-10Ks, Plasma Guns and other weapons. It is a
realistic simulation of a battle-sequence in Quake 3, without
pauses which often occour in other timedemos while the game's
character passes a long corridor etc.

I have recorded far over 50 demos, to get this timedemo. It is the
timedemo with the lowest FPS-rates and the heaviest artillery. In
my opinion, this makes the timedemo better for benchmarking Quake 3
than demo001 or demo002.



Create a folder "demos" in the Q3 subdirectory "baseq3" (if it
doesn't exist yet) and copy the file "annihilator.dm3" into it.
Enter the game's console and type:

timedemo 1
demo annihilator
