Description : An eerie place... *shudder*

Thought to be the undiscovered courtyard of St Sebastian. The upkeep of
the courtyard had been left in the care of a Sebatine Monk who was
rumoured to have lived for over 200 years. No one living has seen the
Monk. Only his footsteps have been heard echoing in the still of the
		    night.

Author's Notes
--------------
Only 4 weapons. Hopefully no quick killing - the way a proper Tourney should be.

You can get to the Rocket Launcher by taking the lift and walking round on the courtyard walls - I know how much you like that beast, so you will be pretty vulnerable on your way to getting it!

I originally did have items in the 4 towers, but removed them because I felt this detracted from the Tourney feel I wanted to give this map.

The music is from Unreal and is the same file contained within CTF-TheCrossing by Steve Nabors aka |NoVa|Slick_Willy - so no need to install the enclosed one if you already have his map.

I learnt a lot more about UnrealEd between making this level and my last one - I hope you can tell.

Botplay: I spent most of my time on this map watching and tweaking the bots, as I wanted to create a map reminiscant of the hardcore playing style of an actual one-on-one tournament. I hope that my efforts payed off!

I would suggest NEVER setting the skill level below 'skilled' as the bots will be too dumb to use the impact hammer and can't shoot for toffee.

They can get the power-ups by impact-jumping or translocating - not always at the first attempt, but I thought I'd better give you a bit of a chance. ;->

The first place to go for information on my latest work is my website which I keep regularly updated 2 or 3 times weekly at present. (Yep, I'm p1mping)

Incidentally, the screenshot is very intentional. I 4-bit posterized it and think it sets the scene quite well.

This INCLUDES putting it on ftp.cdrom.com who have a tendancy to do just as such or any other major ftp that bundles cd-roms out of what they carry.

However, if it is provided free-of-charge, i.e. on a magazine's free disk then fine, so long as this .txt file is included alongside the level.

SECRETS & HINTS FOR THIS LEVEL

The Shield Belt is located high up! Use the AntiGrav Boots.

The Damage Amplifier regenerates only half as often as normal. Like I said before, hopefully no quick killing...

HIDDEN POWERUP!

Find the MISSING blocks & slabs (wasn't the Monk trying to make a shrine?) and you'll find the Invisibility, which also takes twice as long to respawn... (I umm'd and arr'd about putting Invisibility within such a small level, so decided that maybe you shouldn't use it too often if it was there)

Otherwise just cheat and go through UnrealEd to find it, but that will spoil my hiding place - it shouldn't take too long to find in the normal course of a game...

I deliberately broke the bots path to it, as I am still haunted by nightmares of playing against Xan on Hyperblast!

P.S. The Big Keg O' Health was put back in one of the towers at my son's insistance - I'll let you make your own mind up whether I was right or wrong to listen to him! I figured if someone really wants to try for it, they'll leave themselves wide open to the other guy.
