* The Worldcraft FGD pack, version 1.5

* What is an FGD?

FGD stands for Forge Game Data. Worldcraft's original name was the Forge, before some copyright issues arose and ben was forced to switch to Worldcraft. The FGD contains all the entity information Worldcraft needs, as well as telling which palette file to load.

In previous versions of Worldcraft, there could only be one FGD file, quake.fgd. But, since version 1.5, Worldcraft will load the first FGD it finds. This makes it much easier to use and keep track of multiple FGD files. The files included in this pack are quake.fgd (the standard quake entities), hipnotic.fgd.x (the entities from Scourge of Armagon), rogue.fgd.x (entities from Dissolution of Eternity), and zerstrer.fgd.x (the entities from the Zerstrer add-on). To use one of the non-standard FGD files, rename quake.fgd to quake.fgd.x, and remove the .x from whichever FGD you need.

* Hey, I want to make a custom FGD for my quake mod!

Editability is the key to any game modification's success. It is very easy to add support for your mod to Worldcraft. The Add-ons section of the Forge contains an in-depth explanation about the inner workings of the FGD, as well as a tutorial written by Imaginos.
