                   I N S T R U C T I O N S 

Unzip all files into ../quake/id1/maps directory.

ATTENTION - GLQuake users!!! 
It is recommended that you'll use follow commands in your
autoexec.cfg file:

gl_flashblend "0"
gl_ztrick "0"

At the console type "map gol_st"  
Happy gibbing, and I recommend that you save often!!

                          N O T E S 

After hearing that my levels are too easy from several people I decided to make what I considered
the most difficult level I could.  If you are not interested in an all out Frag Fest then I 
highly recommend sticking to the NORMAL play setting.  I also inserted Deathmatch starts even
though I hadn't designed this map pak to work with DM.  I felt that if the player decided to play 
these maps in DM mode I would give them that option.  The Darkness within also supports DM play,
and upon time limits etc. will load up e1m3 The Necropolis.  Also thanks to VONDUR, I stole his 
readme file and replaced my info for Castle Golgotha in it. Upon completion of Castle Golgotha 
Quake will attempt to load my other map The Darkness Within. The maps aren't specifically supposed
to work together, but the themes are similar in both.

You may distribute these maps by any electronic means as long as this document is included. 
  They are not to be burned to a CD etc. or sold w/out prior approval from the author TIM ELEK.
