Known bugs : 1 known bug. There is a visibility error in the oculus above the Rocket chamber. This appeared only after the final compile and does not appear in the sofware renderer. I am an unable to get rid of it. There is a similar error in the map Base2 in quake2. It appears in the apparatus on top of the pillar in the computer room beyond the machine gun cage. One of the edges protrudes and almost appears one dimensional (it is visible from one side only). If Tim Willits cannot figure out how to fix it, then do not expect me to. Anyhow its purely cosmetic and does not affect the play.

*Theory*

My intention was to create a fast running 1 on 1 map that involved rocket combat and armor hoarding. The yellow armor court has eight portals in it whereas the rocket chamber has about five. So the focus was on connectivity. The level is also situational in the tradition of Dm5 and Dm6 from Quake1. The inspiration for this level was, of coarse, Dm5 for Quake1 and the fabulous map "Hammer Down" (also for Quake1) by Daniel "Gom Jabbar" Leinich. I recommend his map to anyone who enjoys definitive Quake entertainment.
