The Strogg War - Beta v0.30
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You need Quake II v 3.20!

I think you know how to run a mod
   (quake2.exe +set game tsw +set basedir x:\quake2).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Read manual.txt to get the knowledge of the basic functions of TSW!

 v0.30-Improvements:
ECONOMICS : You have to pay for your units and buildings now.
Build an energy-converter and a refinery. The
converter extracts thermal energy from the ground
and converts it to plasma-cells. These cells are
transported to the refinery (now still with a hack).
There they are refined and made to money or energy-
cells which are used to power other buildings.

weapon-range : The weapons have all a limited range now, also the
                        railgun. No more first-person-railgun-snipers!
Try them all out to get the idea.

changed team size: I've changed the size of the teams to one guy, so
the one you do select is the one you do control.

visible selection: I've added a selection marker that shows you which
unit you are pointing at and which one you've
                        selected. The idea is by
                        'QuakeStyle' (quakestyle@optusnet.com.au).

     re-added fake- : The fake-airstrike is back. Enter'cmd fakeairstrike'
airstrike at the console to get a payload of paratroopers from
the yellow team. To simulate a bit of single-player.

 Improvements:
cvar added: Two client-side vars have been added. They are for the fog.
opengl_fog: enables fog when you run standard OpenGL
glide2_fog: enables fog when you run the MiniGL-Driver and
                             have the glide2x.dll
If you have problems running the game, even if you have the
hardware and the drivers, you can now disable the fog. The
vars are independent from each other, so you can enable
both fog-vars (you'll only get the fog of the actual video-
                 mode).
                 usage: set <cvar> <value>
                        values: 0 - disables fog
                                1 - enables fog

AI bugfix: now they don't get crazy when staying at one point

time-limit: the timelimit is now really the point from where the game
checks if only one team is left

      building-
placement: If you call the building, the future construction is
displayed as a black, transparent model. Now you can't
place multiple buildings at the same position.
Added a check for the sky. If the cursor can't see the sky
above him, it becomes red. So the Viper doesn't get stuck
                 any more in the walls.

QWar2-support: QWar2-maps are supported now. Just load them with the 'map'
command. You can play red and blue teams. The map will need
a lot of sky to work.

color-skins: I've added colored skins for all final models. Now you can
see to whom a building belongs.
Two teams have been removed: black and white.

dll-framework: The units and buildings have been placed into the extra
dlls. If you don't like one of the unit-typed, then just
open the dlls.ini and delete the specific line.
For all you coders out there: I'll release the code of the
                 framework if it's definite.

new-commands: You can tell new commands to your teammates: In observer-
mode, press the command-cycling-buttons (standard: 'o'+'p')
until you get the new green symbols.
                 The commands are:
-remove from team: point at the guy you want to get solo
and press order-apply (std: space), now
he is solo and can move freely.
-add to team: select the guy you want to add (with
mouse or key-selection), point at the
                                     target-team and press order-apply.
The symbols should show you what is for what.
