Bug Sounds
**********

These are various nifty bug noises I found on the internet. Put these in your quake2/baseq2/players/bugs folder, and they'll replace the boring default ones! Keep in mind this will only work with versions 3.12 and after.

Tips for making your own sounds
*******************************

Before you replace any of the files in the male, female, or cyborg directories, you should make a seperate folder for the originals and copy them in there. This way if you ever change your mind and want all those original .wavs, you'll still have them. Before adding new .wavs you need to convert them to mono (a lot of sounds you get off the net are stereo) or else Quake2 won't accept them. To make a mono quality .wav, you must set up a customized quality. You can do this by opening the .wav, go to audio properties in the Edit menu, choose customize, select mono from the attributes, and name the new quality (i use Quake2style as the name). You only need to do this once. Now for each .wav you want to convert, open the .wav, go into the properties of the File menu, and Convert Now to the Quake2style. When you exit out of the .wav, the computer will prompt you if you'd like to save the new version in mono, select yes! Thats all ya gotta do.

Here are the sound names used by quake2, you'll have to rename your .wav to the one you want it to represent...
