Skillz test #4 highlight reel
-----------------------------
Edited by Yonatan Donner <ruthd@post.tau.ac.il>

This is just a highlight reel I made for skillz test #4 from the 15 or so
demos I liked most. You get to see lots of grenade jumps, with extra
emphasis on the coolest ones, and lots of fiend gibbing... running time is
2:35.

I didn't add a soundtrack to it for two reasons: I wanted to keep it a .dem
file and not a .pak file, and I didn't want it to take a lot of diskspace.
So I hope you can listen to your favorite CD while playing it :)

Some background information about me and skillz test #4... when I first
discovered the two main tricks in the level (the gold key grenade jump and
the fiend trick) I told the other Quake done Quick guys about them and I was
sure it was impossible to combine both in one demo, it was all so hard back
then! Later I improved in both and got the time down from 1 minute to the
0:43 currently in QdQ version 1. We always wanted to do a contest in this
map because it is so hard to make the jump and get a good cooperation from
the fiend, and I always wanted to see more people do those tricks, and
skillz test #4 made it happen... I hope you'll enjoy the reel as I enjoyed
making it, because it summarizes all the stuff I wanted to see people do
optimally :) We always knew about the second grenade jump but didn't think
it was worth the risk... only for the contest I started trying it and saw it
was quite easy. Also we never threw the first grenade so fast.

I tried getting the most stylish, cool and unique parts of the demos to show
really how many ways there are to do tricks that seem simple...
