DESCRIPTION:
started- 11/11/99
finished- 26/11/99
length- about 15 1/2 minutes
This demo contains most (if not all) the challengers from week 14 to week 37. I chose this time span as it's about where rtr98 left off and also it's just before RtR moved to planetquake. I originally was going to just do a few of my favourite jumps but it just get bigger, and bigger. I originally didn't want the final .zip to be over 3mb as the bigger the file the less people will downloade it, I hope 7.3mb is not to big for a recam. ;)

MUSIC:
I originally had the music in the .pak file but to save on disk size the quality was dropped to 11kb/s. I didn't like this idea so i changed to use the StrangeUti which makes the sound quality higher but the .zip stayed approx the same size (but now the .wav's when extracted takes up about 36mb).
The music was done by:
ztn2dm3 - Obliviant by Beanbag
ztn2dm5 - Obliviant by Beanbag
ztn2dm4 - Disturbed by Beanbag
ztn2dm1 - Wake up by Rage against the Machine
bunk1 - Bite The Hand by Beanbag
fact1 - Happy Dispatch by Beanbag
match1 - Guttersnipe by Beanbag
q2dm8 - Got the Life by Korn
q2dm6 - Why by Beanbag
q2dm5 - Freesignal by Beanbag
q2dm4 - Desire of the Son of Morning by Beanbag
q2dm3 - Taste Test by Beanbag
q2dm2 - Stale by Beanbag
q2dm1 - Mindfields by the Prodigy

Beanbag aren't that well know, which is why i chose to put them in (to make the recam more original) but i think they are pretty cool. You can check them out at www.beanbagonline.com

PROGRAMES USED:
Keygrip (http://www.planetquake.com/keygrip/)
The only program that I know of that allows you to recam q2 demos easily

Paintshop Pro 5 (http://www.jasc.com/)
A simple, easy to use paint program

MusicsMathch Jukebox 3 (http://www.musicmatch.com/)
Allows music tracks on CD to be converted to .mp3 or .wav files

Qped (http://www.planetquake.com/qped/)
Allows you to view and edit a .pak file

StrangeUtil (http://www.strangecompany.org)
Nice small program that converts .mp3 to .wav

sound recorder- the one in windows '98
Used to cut up .wav files- hence the music just ending and not fading out
