Computer.map - Matthew 'bushboy' Trow
------------------------------------------------------

Included in this zip is:-

computer.bsp - so you can see what it looks like in quake
computer.wad - the original textures used (not a bad job)
computer.map - the actual computer - 10 solids, 74 faces

I decided to make a pc as it could be pretty cool in a base
style level.

The hardest part was the creation of the textures, the rest
was easy.
I probably could have done a better job of texturing, but
damn, I'm going on holiday tommorow (dec 5th '97)
so I'm stuck for time.
Bottom line - it looks like a puter.

You could go mad with realism on this one - basically, to get wires
running along the table and coming out of the back of the pc, would
require that you create a desktop texture with the wires on it in exactly
the correct postion for the prefab - that way you could get a cord coming
out of the mouse to the back of the pc, and cords running down the back
of the pc to a plug and to the monitor - a major task.

The main problem is the scale of the item - when you are creating textures
for something this small your options are limited - the keyboard is 32 pixels
by 24 pixels - very limiting, you can't even get the correct number of keys
onto the keyboard at that size.

Use this damn thing as you see fit, just credit it to Matthew bushboy trow in
your levels text file.
