			       Hot Potato CTF
				Version 1.6
				for Quake II

Pass the Flag or DIE!!! Welcome to Hot Potato CTF, the exciting CTF variant
that requires stronger coordination between teammates than any other CTF mod.
All teams fight over a single flag and need to return it to their team base.
One small problem though: Players can only hold on to the flag for a limited
time before having to pass it off to a teammate. Hold it too long and you
gib!

Hot Potato CTF is brought to you by Quake Innovations, a leader in providing
quality Quake addons. Some of our other works include Paintball, the original
Capture the Flag for Quake, Capture the Shambler, and The Quake Easter Egg
Hunt. There are many other games and original concepts that were developed
by us. Please visit our main website at http://qteam.stomped.com.

And of course there's also a Quake I version of Hot Potato!

1. Installing the package

   You must already have the registered version of Quake II installed on your
   system in order to play Hot Potato CTF.

   1.1 Installing the package using WinZip
       * Open up the .zip file called q2hp16.zip (chances are you've found it
         because you are reading this documentation)
       * Click the Extract button
       * Choose the options for "All Files", "Use Folders", and "Overwrite
         Existing Files".
       * In the listbox, browse for the directory where you installed Quake2
         (This is the directory that contains quake2.exe)
       * Click the Extract button
       * You're all set!!!
   1.2. Using another zip extractor
      You're sort of on your own - just keep in mind that you need to use
      the preserve directories option and unzip the package into your quake2
      directory (The directory that contains quake2.exe)

5. Other works - You can find these at http://qteam.stomped.com
   5.1. Paintball     Quake I
        Just like the real thing: Paintball weapons, team elimination play,
        CTF play, and outdoor playing fields. Includes fancy new graphics
        and sounds. Our most popular Quake I patch!

   5.2 QTeam          Quake I
       This patch has a ton of multiplayer games included, all original
       code and ideas. Many of the games now can be found

       Capture the Flag - The original implementation of CTF for Quake
          by Quake Innovations, supporting standard CTF, 1 flag CTF,
          3 Team CTF, and much more!

       Capture the Shambler - Teams vie for a single shambler in a map, the
          shambler owner must lead the shambler to the team base. The
          shambler fights for his team along the way!

       King of the Hill - Play consists of short 1 minute rounds and teams
          fight to occupy the 'hill' for the longest during each round.
          Again, the original King of the Hill game for Quake!

       Paintball - This was our original paintball game. It doesn't have any
          of the new weapons or models that are found in the standalone
          Paintball patch (also by Quake Innovations) but does have team
          elimination mode and can be played on any id map.

       Also included are deathtag and qfragfest games!

   5.3 The Inner Circle Trinket Quake I

     The wildest, wackiest, wandom (oops, that's random) powerup known to
     Quakers! Watch out though, not every effect is good! In fact some
     are downright evil!!!
