Q3Setup Version 0.1 - 13/04/2000 [FIRST NON-BETA RELEASE]
===================

Installation
------------

1. Run the standard naff InstallShield 'setup.exe' in the archive.

2. Ensure you have the two DLL files 'UnzDll.dll' and 'ZipDll.dll' -
if not, download them from http://www.planetquake.com/q3setup under
the files section. You ideally need to place them into your
Windows\System for the program to work.

3. Run the program. You must enter the directory of the Quake III Arena
executable when requested or the program will not work.

[4. Set up Game and Player options as necessary in the program.]

Fixed/Added in version 0.1
---------------------------

-Fixed about a zillion crappy bugs (ouch - do I *really* program that badly? ;)
including crashing badly if the Q3F beta is installed, and ignoring many
 maps for no good reason...
-Added .tga levelshot support
-Added the ability to create network games (i.e. start a server)
-Changed incremental values on spin-edits (editing sv_maxrate with a spinbutton
which only inc/decrements by 1 is noooooot amusing :-D)
-Generally tidied up interface and code
-Added Simulated Ping entry on Player Options

Fixed/Added in version 0.09b
----------------------------

-Map, bot, model, skin finding is now *much* quicker and is now automatically
run every time the program runs
-Fixed missing .arena info bug
-Added Minimise icon to main window
-Added extra parameters in Game Options window
-Fixed non-scaling of levelshots

Known Bugs
----------

-When playing team games (TDM+CTF), the bot+player teams seem to go wrong -
I have a feeling this is Q3A's fault, not mine
-Tourney games with >1 bots means that the Player must wait in the 1v1 queue -
 again, this is Q3A

Possible Future Features (feedback on these much appreciated)
------------------------

-Graphics setup options (e.g cg_shadows)
-Key binds setup options (importing from q3settings.cfg?)
-

Please feel free to give feedback on any problems, ideas, or praise using the
built-in test-report generator (under the Help menu, or click on the 'I've
found a bug!' button on the main screen Begin tab.
