Instructions:

1. unzip the sound files to your root directory -- e.g. c:\ or whatever.

2. if they weren't already there, winzip should have made a path on your root that looks something like this--

	c:\sound\player\thetick

this folder (thetick) should contain all the sounds that were in the zip file. IMPORTANT: make sure the box labeled "use folder names" is ticked when extracting the files.

3. now go back to winzip and open up your .pk3 file that contains the tick model. it should be in your baseq3 directory (otherwise it won't work). mine is called "md3-thetick". now click the add button and browse until you get to the directory you previously made --

	c:\sound\player\thetick

now click on the first file and then hold down the SHIFT key and click on the last sound file in the folder. this should select all of them at once. one again, make sure that the "save extra folder info" box is ticked. then just click the add button and your .pk3 file for the tick should now contain the new sound files.

4. close up winzip and go into quake3, select the tick model, and you're ready to roll.

Extra Stuff:

This soundpack was originally submitted to the model author casManG (Carl Schell) and has
been posted at his suggestion. Thanks to Carl for a super cool model, the tick rules.
anyhow i hope you enjoy these and happy fragging.
