Model description : The RX-78-2 Gundam was the original gundam from the series. Built by the Earth Federation to combat the threat
of Zeon's MS06 Zaku's during the one year war of U.C. 0079. The gundam quickly became the standard of mechanized warfare.
It's design was used as a basis for other Federation Mobile Suits through out their history.

Other info : This model was play tested on a 400mhz celeron with 64megs of ram and an S3 video card (my computer) and was
also tested on a series of TDZ Intergraphs, 500mhz with 256 megs of ram space and wildcat video cards. Bottom line
the model works, the polycount is fairly high though if you can run q3 then you should have no problem with it,
it does however come with lod support. Oh yeah, BTW for those of you who might have some USEFUL CRITICISM about
texturing and texture blending please send suggestions to above email address. for example a useful critic would
be "hey dude you need to fix your shading here's how" and not this "dude your textures suck" that doesn't help me
one bit. As far as botfiles are concerned I don't have the time to study bot scripting nor shaders at the moment,
but if my schedule clears up I'll put some attention to these matters. If any one is willing create bots for
this model please feel free to do so just email me for the bot chat.

decent lookin one for the life of me), the frag whores at my local art institute for helpin me play test it.

Known Bugs : Head model in the hud is to far up in the screen tried to fix it somewhat. If you are using the java md3 viewer
to view custom models you will not be able to view this one, for some reason the viewer tells me that the mesh data is incorrect.
Build/Animation time : Too long to recall, actually I built this a good while ago for Q2 and never finished the
process. I decided to beef up the detail and just wait for q3a to be released and finish it then (at one point
this model was well under 900 polys). But I've had a my fair share of setbacks plus all the things going on at
work to keep me busy for months at a time
