UVWEdit - modifier

This is a rewrite of the original UVW Unwrap modifier for Max 2.x. It will not overwrite the original.
Place the Uvwunwrap.dlm in your plugins folder.  It will show up in your modifiers/more panel as UVW Edit.  It functions exactly as the original unwrap modifier but with the added functions of weld/break, mirror selected and fixed rotate selected mapping verts.

To weld simply select two verts and click the Weld button.  

To break a vert into two or more separate mapping verts, select it and hit the Break button.  This will separate the vertex into one or more overlapping vertices, depending on how many polygons the original vertex is connected to.

To mirror select the verts you want and click the mirror button.

To fixed rotate select the verts, type in your angle into the degrees bar then click the rotate button.
