Installation
------------
Extract all the files into the following directories:
USpace.u ==> Unreal\System
USpace.utx ==> Unreal\Textures
USpace.int ==> Unreal\System
All *.unr files ==> Unreal\Maps
Now start Unreal, press esc, and go into Options>AdvancedOptions. Expand "advanced" and then expand "Raw Key Bindings."
Find the key you want to use as your afterburner and type 'button bExtra3' (without the quotes) next to it. Now find the
key you want to use to zoom your radar and type 'button bExtra2' next to it. Type 'button bExtra1' next to the key you
want to use for targeting and 'button bExtra0' next to the key that you want to use to exit the ship. You also need to bind
three more keys: 'button bExtraD' for decoy, 'button bExtraRight' for the ship's first special function and
'button bExtraLeft' for the ship's second special function. Now if you want to play around with all the ships go to Botmatch
and select 'USpace' as the game type, or if you want to get right into the action go right to a USpace server. We will try
to have a list of USpace servers and their adresses at http://www.planetunreal.com/uspace/.

Flight Manual
-------------
USpace is a team game with two teams: the humans and the Skaarj. Objectives vary from map to map, but the basic controls of
the ships stay the same. There are currently 4 ships for each race. They are listed below:

Ship Class -- Turning - Speed - Firepower - Armor/Shields - Special

Fighter high high med-low low none

Small Fighter high high low low none

Cruiser medium medium medium medium enter rear or top turrets (see below for turret information)

Carrier medium low high high enter one of the two fighters (see below for details)

Hover Craft high low low high enter the turret (see below for turret information)

Some ships in USpace have turrets. To enter a turret press one of the special keys (button bExtraLeft or button bExtraRight).
When inside a turret you can rotate and fire it. Also, it is possible to have a gunner and a pilot (two people) on one ship.
The carrier has small fighters docked with it instead of turrets. You can enter them the same way. Once inside, you can press
bExtraLeft to return to the ship or bExtraRight to launch. If you want to dock with the carrier again to repair and rearm,
simply bump into it.

Your ship has several weapons. They are arranged into two main categories: missiles and guns. To fire guns, press
the Fire button. To fire missiles, press the Alt Fire button. You can cycle the missiles and guns with the Left and Right
keys. Guns use energy that regenerates over time, but missiles will only regenerate when you enter a repair area. Here
is a list of the repair areas in the existing maps:

Map Name    -     Repair Area

Space Standoff Behind the human's rear hangar and on top of the Skaarj base (over the red symbol)

H2O City On top of the central tower

You can increase and decrese your ship's speed with the Up and Down keys. You can stop your ship completely with the Crouch
key. You can also use the afterburner by holding down the bExtra3 key.

Your ship also has a radar and targeting system. Your radar displays dots. Here is what they mean:

blue dot - friendly ship

red dot - enemy ship

grey dot - unocupied ship or an asteroid

yellow dot - your target

large dot (red or blue) - the person in that ship has a core (see below about cores)

You can zoom your radar with the radar zoom key (bExtra2). You can sycle your ship's targeting modes by pressing the
bExtra2 key. The first and default mode is the "Searching for targets" mode where you have to point your ship at the
target and hit bExtra2 again to lock that target. If you press bExtra2 a second time you will go into the "Closest Target"
mode where your ship automaticaly finds and locks onto the closest enemy ship. If you have a guided missile selected,
you will see triangles rotated around your target. Once they are all pointing at the middle of the target, the missile is
locked and will fly towards the target.

USpace maps can have cores in them. Cores work like flags in CTF games, except that once captured they will launch a
nuclear warhead at the enemy base killing everyone inside. Some map also have "credits" which you can pick up and return
to your base's core and recieve 5 frags for each credit.

Maps
----
You can create and distribute maps for USpace without any permission, however you cannot include the code with the map,
instead you can put a link to our site (www.planetunreal.com/uspace).
For information on how to create a USpace map, refer to the maps page on our site.

Servers
-------
You can create USpace servers without any permission. If you want us to annouce about your server on our site, e-mail
me at lsergey@home.com

Bugs
----
If you find bugs in the USpace code or map, drop me a line at lsergey@home.com.
During beta testing, we found some very ilusive bugs with the follow symptoms:

-When your ship gets shot down, you fly around with 0 health

-You can't turn your ship

These bugs were found in very laggy situations and I couldn't test them enough to figure out what was wrong. If this ever
happends to you, make sure to describe as many details as you can to me in your message.

Also, a common error is that people get "Can't find PlayerStart" error messages. To fix this, simply set a color to your
player (blue or red).
