time to create map:  All day (+12 hrs) 

This map: 1-10 is a 7-8 for DM play with 2-7 people or 3-6 bots+
a human. this is way better than dm-fetid and Dm-stalwart by Epic, 
but not as good as Morpheus or the Longest Yard.

DM-Log-Cabin-Romantic (the sun just set on this map)
DM-DK-Log-Cabin-BlueMoon 
DM-DK-Log-Cabin-Red-Moons

Special features: A small forest surrounds the cabin and there
is a lake in the back.   On the RedMoons map there are boulders
to use for cover and for sniping. Both the cabin and the lake have
Items and powerups. Also use the boxes to dodge fire. the c key is 
for crouch and you can also hide behind the trees.

Colored Lighting:

DM-Log-Cabin-Romantic: Orange Lighting
DM-Log-Cabin-Blue-Moon: blue outside and purple inside lighting
DM-Log-Cabin-Red-Moons: Red lighting 

Note on the searchlights and flares : they only take up less then a 
meg more of ram.

Note: I was going to make brushes in the shape of logs but that
would add over 150 polys to the map and slow it down too much.



Requirements: 400 AMD or 400 Pentium 2 or greater
and 128  ram Mininum! Both unreal tournament and Quake 3  arena
realistically ( no bs ) where made for pentium 2 400-500 + with
128 ram.  

Windows 2000  is made for 500-700 pentiums and 128 ram min. 
on anything less it will not run as well especially for games.
and win 95 was made for pentium 90-133 and 32 ram.

The point to the above is that you need a very good machine to enjoy
these maps as well as UT and Q3A and Win2000.

Purpose : A very small Deathmatch map for 2-7 people 
and 3-6 bots plus a human. It is 
also very bare (minimalist "no fancy stuff") for lighting speed.


this map is for 2-7 people or 3-6 bots + a human.

bot support: yes! they work good. the map must
have 2 bots mininum.

When they (bots) spawn in the cabin it takes
them awhile to get out of the cabin. It tried to fix this
bug but i couldn't. Other than that the bots can roam very 
freely.


These 3 maps are made for sniping! 
that is the design! In the wild west they had rifles and handguns
and no rocketLaunchers!


compile time: 10 seconds approx
 

map size:  < 164 kb  each and one 380 kb

map requirements: 



maps like e1m7 ( the last level in quake 1 first episode )
are great for dm. fast and simple. this map is addictive in dm.!!


design goal: map was made for death match   with 3-7
people for a frag fest!!!


warning: if u add to much to the map it makes
it slow!!! i deleted a bunch of stuff to speed up the map. 
decorations are nice but deathmatch speed is what
is in for me.



if u recompile  it remember bsp tab 
and checkmark the autolight
to keep the lighting intact or
it will mess up the lights and
 make the map look bad.


Mistakes made:  None ! It is 100% perfect! (well 3 minor 
brush misalignments but you can only see them when you open
up unrealed.
