time to create map:  a couple of days because I do not know
unrealed very well.

Map :  DM-PentagramOverLava,   this gets your attention because
there are 1500+ maps now out there! for unreal and UT alone and 
at least 2000 for quake 1 and 2.


All mod authors of tcs or ctf makers:  u are allowed to modify this 
map and use it and redistrube it freely!!!!!
just keep it at a min of half dark! (to me the map is 3/4 dark now)


this is a small and lighting fast dm map

this is  for unreal tournament Only!

Purpose : I love edge of oblivion (dmhip) ( i spell very poorly public education!)
and DM ether but,(both are best with 8-16 people) they are  to big for deathmatch. Most servers on the
net have 3- <10 people on them.  sometimes even teamfortresss, thunderwalker,
and loki have too few people on them. for those maps u need 10-20+ pple or 
the game will be slow.

***this map is inspired by dmhalls of hell, oblivion and dmether***

this map is for 3-7 people! with a good net connection.(56 k )

special note: if i made the walkways too narrow in the middle 
when connected to the net with some lagg u may fall off. 
If on a nice lan network all of the walkways could be more narrow.:)




computer used: 

233mmx pent, 96 ram, 6.2 hd
56 robotics modem. windows Nt 4.0 sp 4 (it sucks!)

bot support: I tried bots with this map and they work very well wow!
they walk around the inner and outer rings and walk on the catwalk over
the lava pit and pick up the invisiability and health. Steve Polge the
bot man at epic did a great job!

why this name? to get attention!

 This map was inspired by the game
quake and the pentgram of protection.
and no i do not worship the devil . this map is to scare u in dm,
like in the greatest game of all time, quake 1 !
lighting fast deathmatch and rockets!!


map size:  <350 kb

map requirements:  no 3d card: 266mmx pent and 128 ram.

with 3d card:  233mmx and 96 ram . 

a 500 pent/ 128 ram with a tnt card is great!

maps like e1m7 ( the last level in quake 1 first episode )
are great for dm. fast and simple. this map is addictive in dm.!!


design goal: map was made for death match  or ctf with 3-8
 people for a frag fest!!!

to all mod authors ! u can modifly this map and use it freely
just leave this read me intact and also keep the map at least
1/2  (half dark)  or it will look bad! ( it is 3/4 dark now)

warning: if u add to much to the map it makes it slow!!!
i deleted a bunch of stuff to speed up the map. 
decorations are nice but deathmatch speed is what is in for me.



add the flags for ctf on the opposite sides of the ring for 2 on 2
or 3 on 3 ctf play.

if u recompile  it remember bsp tab and checkmark the autolight
to keep the lighting intact or
it will mess up the lights and make the map look bad.


Mistakes made:  none  ! 
note: this is my 8th?  map ever released. 
My best map is DmVampireFortess it is for Unreal 1 dm I need 
to port it to UT but i am having a problem because it uses custom 
textures. 

i rate them both of the above 1-10  an 8. both this map
and the dmvampire are very good.
