Installation
------------

IMPORTANT: There are monsters featuring in this level. You must alter your UnrealTournament.ini
file to see them in the game.
Open your UnrealTournament.ini file which can be found in your Unrealtournament/system folder, find
the line that says "bnomonsters=true" and change it to say "bnomonsters=False".
The when you run the map, you will see them in the game.

Unzip the file DM-TimeRip.UNR into your UnrealTournament\Maps folder.
When UT is started, you will see the map in your menu under Deathmatch.

Extended description:
--------------------

The Liandri co-operation had heard about the fusion wars on Europa and the effect of the
continual atomic bombardment by the Skaarj on the recently settled colonists. Due to the
high levels of Neutrino radiation originating from the moons core the atomic blasts had
created temporal instability there and the site had been evacuated for fear of problems
with time displacement.
	Liandri saw this as an excellent business opportunity. Quickly they sent their
best scientific minds to the settlement to investigate the possibilities of using the
temporal rips for a new Deathmatch idea. They succeeded. The result was a
reconstruction of the warzone split into two timezones. One at the start of the war
and the other several years later. Both areas are dynamically linked by custom made
portals and the results of the action are gathered at a central location by Liandri. 

To add a feeling of authenticity to the matches and added amusement, Xan ordered the use
of Nuclear air strikes which can be activated by the contenders.

Bugs:
-----

It may slow down a little looking down from the sniper towers .... well, its kind of a big layout
from there!

Author's Notes
--------------
Play with a friend and with at least 15 bots. Its really good fun for you to sit at the top of
one tower with a redeemer whilst another player is on the opposite tower also with a redeemer.
You can have a great game of chicken that way. ;-)

I alsways wanted a map where you can just fly the redeemer all over the place without it ever
having to hit something. You can fly it as long as you like in this just so long as no-one snipes
you while you're doing that!

I've been fiddling with Time-Rip for quite a while, but only on the last week or so I
have finally done anything noteable with it. I thought of this after designing Xerania's
Fall in which a time portal can take you to two different times in the same place, I just
thought that this would make for an original idea in deathmatch. The airstrikes were an
after thought.

This is an extremely large map so you'll need plenty of bots in there.
