Author's Notes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was browsing the UT texture packages when I suddenly found myself staring Crypt2 in the face. I recognised the brown stone walls and demonic decor from DOM-Cryptic, but I was also reminded of a certain other game from days of yore...
As I wanted to create a fairly low-poly map I decided to try and create a quakish-feeling map using those textures. Once the map was begun however the poly count grew and the theme changed a lot, and I was suprised to find it was fairly enjoyable to play.
So, it became the first unreal engine map I've ever released.
As it was never intended for release the geometry is boring and in general the level is plain ugly, but it does seem to play fairly well with a few bots.
Hopefully the next map will be more aesthetically pleasing.
