Misc. Author Info : Born and raised in the province of Quebec, Canada, I have been
very interested by all sorts of video games since they started
coming out (yes folks, I am old enough to remember pong). Unreal
is the best one of its category I have seen yet and the included
level editor just begged me to be used. The temple of the moons
was my first released level. I decided to try and improve it, and
                      I think I have succeeded.

Description : This is a deathmatch level that will easily accomodate ten players
and over. It has four main levels, an upper plaza, underground
corridors with a central pool, a volcanic cavern and a lower
chapel dedicated to the temple's fire goddess. Plenty of ways
are provided to make moving between the various parts quick and easy. There are plenty of weapons and other items generously
                      distributed all over.

Credits : Sincere thanks to the many people who wrote tutorials for
www.unrealed.net. These tutorials were the sole source of information
I used to teach myself how to use unrealed. The results, good or
                      bad, are entirely my fault.

* Play Information *

Single Player : No
Cooperative : No
Deathmatch : Yes
Difficulty Settings : No
New Sounds : No
New Graphics : Yes
New Music : No
Textures used : Mostly from the Ancient set, plus a few picked and chosen from
the others, for the lava and the cavern's features, and a few
decorations. There are also two new texture files, one containing
pictures of paintings for an added art gallery and the other
for the improved sky and the chapel. Many of the later are images
from the Ancient texture set that I have recolored and slightly
                      edited.

* Construction *
Base : Updated version of one of my previously released levels.

Build Time : About four weeks to complete the update.

Installation : Put the .unr file in the /unreal/maps folder and the .utx files
in the /unreal/textures folder. The .txt file can go
                      wherever you see fit.

Changes made : Created a whole new level, a chapel in the lowermost part of
                      the map
Added a ledge on the outside of the large hollowed out rock on
                      which the temple is constructed
Markedly improved the appearance of the sky (I think)
Added portals to improve vertical mobility
Modified the elevator platforms. The bots will now use them
correctly most of the time, both going up and going down.
Redistributed items within the new architecture
Closed the ledge going around the lava pool. It now goes all
                      around with no interruption.
Rezoned the sound effects as best as I could
That's about it. I let you find out about the rest all by
                      yourself.

Editor used : Unrealed, the beta version, straight from the CD.

Known Bugs : No longer any detectable bugs, except for one inconspicuous
HOM effect. Can you spot it?
