About the level:
  This level was just as much an architecture experiment as it was a deathmatch.  I tried 
to give the impression of a secluded old monastery.  It is a little dark (especially the 
catacombs :p) and hence the name Dark Sanctuary.      
  Gameplay wise I thoroughly tested it in both botmatch/LAN, and the gameplay is pretty 
balanced.  I even had a decent 2 player duel, on it.  One limitation that I found
is that this level does not support the skaarj warrior class very well, as some areas are 
too small for the character to fit through. However there is enough alternative routes to 
make the level playable with the skarrj.  I hope you enjoy this level, and if it is popular
I will probably release a watered down version that is playable on all systems.  Happy 
fragging.

Version Update (1.2):
I spent some time fixing various texture misalignments, and adding some decoration masks.
In addition I changed some of the textures from the original version, and improved the 
bot path noding even more.  I also added many more ambient sounds to bring the level more
alive.  I added a few more items, including the shard gun and scuba gear (for no real
purpose), and relocated a few others slightly.    

Performance Notes: 
  This level was created on a p2-400 w/ a voodoo2.  I would not recommend a non p2 system
without 3d acceleration.
