Author's Notes

This is my second Serpentine map, my first being DMBuildings. I tried to keep this map fairly realistic looking although I've used my gamers licensee quite a few times to sacrifice realism for gameplay. For instance the insides of the buildings have hallways and elevators that only take you where I want you to go. I could've made whole buildings but that would have sucked for gameplay so I did what I did. When I was designing this map, my goal the whole time was to create a fairly realistic map that would be awesome for window sniping, and I think I've done that. I recommend playing with 4-12 people for strategy to bloodbath respectively. If you want to have good use of the grenades, I recommend turning weapons stay off. Have fun.

Some texture details

I've also created quite a few new textures as I needed them into a file called m9ktex.utx. You are free to use these as you'd like to. This was a learning level for me in the way of creating new textures so I kind of messed up with the locations of the textures. Here's a description of the texture files included:
Acctextures: Original author is (I think) the author of DMBronx. I've added some new textures into this file such as the two shades of brick you see in DMInnerCity and the road. I kept all of the original textures in here too, so if it says you're overwriting another file of this name, go ahead it should not harm any other levels.
jtex: These are the textures used for DMUrban. I used two or three of these.
untitled: These are the textures used in DMParanoid. I used two or three of these also.
m9ktex: This file contains all of the textures you see in the level except for the textures that come with Unreal. I also included some other textures that I was going to use but ended up not such as a larger brick and road with white lines on it. I tried to make this the only file you needed but for some reason UnrealED would not let me switch the textures used on the map to this location, I don't know why. So the result is that you need to download some extra texture files, sorry about the big download.
