NOTE: You MUST unzip railgun.u from the included railgun.zip to your /Unreal/System
directory to play this map!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Title : Eternal Dismemberment Complex (for Unreal)
Filename                : DMedc.zip
Author : Bren86 (Unreal), Tyrann (Quake bsp)
Email Address           : Bren86 <bren86@geocities.com>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Play Information *

Deathmatch              : Yes
Players: 2-4 recommended; there are playerstarts for 6 but only 4 weapons.
Weapons: Gyr's Railgun, Rifle, Stinger, Automag

* Construction *

Base : I used the winbsp2t3d converter to get main structure from
			  the Quake bsp Tyrann did. But I did the texture selection,
			  lighting, light fixtures, item placement, and pathnoding.
Editor(s) used : I used Unrealed under Unreal 224, Tyrann used BSP 0.93b
Build Time : maybe 20 hours of tweaking (I had to put a texture on every
			  single face of this map as winbsp2t3d doesn't convert
			  textures--I wouldn't want to use 8-bit tex's anyway.)

* Description *

Futuristic base style map, designed for 1-on-1 play and small FFA (2-6 recommended).
Bren86's note: With the textures I selected, it's now an area of a power plant. The
blue crystals on the lower floor are radioactive and help power the nuclear generator.

* Unreal Version Credits *

Thanks to:
		--Tyrann-- ...who made the structure of this map in the first place! I've
		never played the Quake version but I saw screenshots so I hope I stayed true
		to his vision.

		--Gyr-- the Unreal coder who made the Railgun, which makes this map really fun!
		I wanted to use Gyr's TraceRifle in this map but it wouldnt show up during game
		play for some reason. Anyways, great work Gyr! (you can get his weapons at
		http://www.planetunreal.com/wod/

		--David Mnnich-- David helped select some of the textures and made lighting
		suggestions. Look for David's work in the upcoming SP map pack 2113: Peril on
		Mars (due out in mid-October 1999) and go download his SP map 13 Mutants on
		Nalicity.

		--Randar-- Randar didn't personally work with me but I used some of his
		pathnoding tips to make my paths.

		--Jeff Preshing-- Jeff coded the original bsp2t3d brush converter which made
		this map possible. you can get the new GUI version of the utility that I wrote
		at http://www.unrealized.net
