This is a pre-release version of the Squishie vs. Mecha MOD.
As such, you will need to get a new version later. Sorry, but
if you weren't so impatient you could just wait. (just kidding)

Installation procedures:
Download squishie.zip
Unzip it into squishie.rez (I would like to point out that you've
probably already done this if your reading this file,
but just to be anal I'm including this step).
copy squishie.rez into your Shogo\custom folder.
Run Shogo.exe (or insert CD)
At the first dialog box, click on the Customize... button.
This will bring up a list of the .rez files in the custom
folder.
Select squishie.rez and click Add.
Click OK.
Click Multiplayer, select your connection and player options
and you're off to war!

NOTE: This MOD currently needs to be run on a host which is
playing the game (i.e. not a dedicated server). It will work
fine on a dedicated server, but I could not get ShogoSrv.exe
to run the Server using my MOD. Go figure.

Here's how to run a dedicated server from Loki:
1) Set up your parameters ahead of time, shutdown the server. Edit
ShogoSrv.cfg's 'RezFiles' entry and correct the filename so:

"RezFiles" "squishie.rez"

   becomes

"RezFiles" "custom\squishie.rez"

Then run 'shogosrv -go' -- it won't prompt you for anything, and will
   load the mod correctly.

2) Or just copy duplicates of everything in 'custom' into the root shogo
dir. Easier, but I prefer method 1 since it saves disk space. :)

Again, this is fixed in 2.1... can you say, 'D'oh!'

I hope that you have enjoyed this MOD. I was developed with
the Shogo-src and lithtech tools released by Monolith for use
only with the Retail version of Shogo. It was writted using
Visual C++ 5.0 solely by myself, Jonathan Branam (SSpeare).
If you enjoy it or hate it, tell me why. Also, please visit
the Otaku web page or my Shogo:MOD web page for updates on
this MOD and others.

Thanks and enjoy
