ABOUT:

I am Dan McKee, a.k.a. Deadeye Dan{ToA}. I decided to make a Rogue Spear

mod to correct certain things about the weapons in Rogue Spear that I (and other

gun nuts) find to be errors. Rogue Spear is a damn good game, so not much needs

to be done to make it realistic, but I still feel it needs a mod. Trufire is a server

side mod, which means only the host needs it to play multiplayer. When hosting, please

indicate that you are running the mod, so people will know. Telling them that only

the host needs it would help, too. I thank you for downloading the Trufire mod, and I

hope you have a blast playing it.

INSTALLATION:

Step one- after downloading Trufire, find the folder called Trufire and put it
	in your Rogue Spear\mods directory.

Step two- create a shortcut to RogueSpear.exe, right click on it, and select
	PROPERTIES.

Step three- the end of the text in the TARGET box should end with 'RogueSpear.exe"'.
add '-mods Trufire' (without quotes) on to the end, making it look like this.
				'RogueSpear.exe" -mods Trufire'

Step four- click OK, then double click on the shortcut to play Rogue Spear with
	the Trufire mod enabled.

CHANGES:

This section is dedicated to all the changes made by this version of the

Trufire mod. If something about the characteristics of a gun is not listed here, it

is the same as it was in your unmodded version of Rogue Spear.

1- All guns in calibers 5.56x45mm, 7.62x51mm, and .50AE are more powerful.

2- The M4 Carbine has more recoil, faster reticule speed, and better running accuracy.

3- The Steyr Aug has less recoil, slower reticule speed, and a different reticule.

4- The G36K now has only one zoom, at x3.5, the same as the real G36k.

GUN SUMMARIES:

This section is dedicated to helping you understand the changes made to the

guns, and help you choose which gun is right for you. If a gun is not listed here, itn't

	modified by Trufire.

The M4 Carbine- the M4 is now much better for close quarters combat, and to some
it may be the best gun in the game. However, it gets it's good close quarters
combat stats from it's light weight, which means it has lots of recoil. If
you do not excercise exceptional fire control, the recoil will throw most of
your shots off and you will probably die. If you enjoy the ability to fire lots
of rounds without recoil becoming a problem, you are better off with the Steyr
		Aug.

The Steyr Aug- the Aug now has a slower reticule, meaning it will take you longer to
line up an accurate shot. It no longer is has the fastest reticule of the
assault rifles, the M4 now holds that title, the Aug is in 2nd place. However,
the Aug now has much less recoil, and coupled with it's still fast reticule
and slow rate of fire, it is the ultimate suppressive fire assault rifle. It
is great for laying down suppressive fire, and for spraying rounds in close
quarters. If you are a player that misses frequently or has poor fire control,
use the Aug and spray the gun around on full auto, and there is a very good
chance that your enemy will take a hit if he is close to you.

Rifles in general- Trufire has given most of the rifles in Rogue Spear a boost in power.
This may affect the your decision when choosing a weapon, because a submachine
gun now looks rather puny compared to an assault rifle, which is the way it is
in Real Life, because rifle bullets travel at a much greater speed, and cause
		much more damage.

.50 Desert Eagle- the .50 cal desert eagle is now a more valid choice for a sidarm,
because it has more of the ability to pierce armor and still do alot of
damage. It used to be very strong for a pistol, but the it only has a 7
shot magazine, so it was somewhat inadequate, compared to what a real life
		.50 DE can do.
