About this mod:
This mod allows you to use two seperate mods together for a difference in equipment options, the version called "block troops," will add weapons(state of the art modern, and cold war leftovers)and install eastern block uniforms over the default outdoor uniforms(most HRT uniforms are unchanged). The version called "NATO troops," will add NATO weapons(modern types only), and multinational NATO uniforms.

Uniforms added:
NATO-
US Urban Ranger, US light, us heavy(jungle), UK Heavy and UK medium(jungle), German light, German light desert, UK medium desert, and US heavy desert.

Block-
Russian Spetsnaz medium, Hungarian light, Finnish heavy, Rhodisian light desert, Russian DPM heavy(jungle), Russian medium mountain/desert. Russian, Poland and some other eastern nations now use a camo pattern so similar to US woodland that I left US woodland in there for the ones not already mentioned.

---Disclaimer: I know Finnland and "Rhodesia" are not Block countries, but I wanted to do skins for them and this was the best place(after all, there is no more Warsaw Pact).

Equipment:
This mods includes 89 equipment options(counting the standard weapons). There are NO "X GUNS!" This means no G11, since it never was nor will it ever be produced as anything but a prototype or technology demonstrator. Also there are no UBERPISTOLS! No .44magnums or .357 magnums either. Why??? Because the bullets cannot be accurately modeled in this game until RSE lets us add in more bullet types. This is a MAJOR flaw in the pistols of mods like NATO1.1, whic uses the NATO 5.56mm rifle round to simulate the magnums. This is soooo unrealistic I don't even want to start. In mods like NATO1.1 it is almost pointless to take any handgun BUT the Desert Eagle or Colt Anaconda unless you have more cajones than John Wayne.

Also, there is no Steyr AUG or any other weapon that is not used by either the NATO militaries or militaries of the former soviet union(and satalites). Some leway was given to the Sigs as they are used heavily by Law Enforcement agencies throught the western world.

Steyrs and Sigs are the general issue weapons of Austria and Switzerland(respectively). I have heard that some other countries now use the Steyr, and that the Sigs were in trials to replace the G3 in Norwegian Spec-Ops(which I understand has made up it's mind to go with the Swedish made Bofors-Carl Gustav Ak5 system, the reason I put the Ak5b in the mod. The standard Ak5 is not in there because it is really just a license made-modified FN FNC, which is in the mod).

For some reason there are a couple weapons that will ONLY be selectible in single play, the G3 A3 ZF being a prime example, even though it is spelled out correctly and is recognized in the multiplayer options. If anybody figures this out, let me know.

Installation:
1-unzip the "basicfiles" to your main tom clancy's R6 folder. Be sure to allow the use of folder data and to allow overwrite files.

2.a-decide if you want block or nato uniforms and weapons then unzip the appropriate file to your r6 main folder.

2.b-for a more challanging multiplayer game(and REALLY hard single player game) you can install the "PistolsAndShotgun" version. This will allow you to choose pistols as both your primary AND seconday weapons. Yes, you can take two Colt .45's! You can also take the 12 guage as a primary.

2.c-If you intend to play online multiplayer ONLY, then you may choose the "MultiplayerOnly" files, which will allow all 63 primary weapons to be selected. But it will not install the new skinz. You can install Nato or Block troops, then install the multiplayer files after to get the skinz if you want.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation troubleshooting:
If it will not allow you to unzip to those folders for any reason, then unzip the files as specified into a temporary folder, just make up a folder name, WinZip will creat it if it does not already exist. Then open up Windows explorer and drag and drop the new data folder inside the temporary one you just made to your main Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six folder.

COMPATIBILITY!
I have made an effort in the latest version to make this mod VERY compatible with NATO1.1 from the A.R.M.M. You can join NATO1.1 games IF you install this mod over an existing NATO1.1 installation and STILL have access to the best weapons from that mod(G36, FA MAS, Sig SG551 Commando, PSG-1, etc...). I have also made the same effort with making the the Block install VERY compatible with the Tango Weapons option in NATO1.1

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More gunz!
There are many more weapons in the NATO version than in the Block version, if you decide you want to try out some different gunz, then you simply have to install that version and open the primary.itm file in your kit folder and use double slashes like this "//" to deselect weapons, then delete the double slashes on the weapons you want to use. You must repeat this procedure exaclty in your text\kit\english folder on the primary.txt file. YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 32 PRIMARY WEAPONS TO CHOOSE FROM. This means that you must deselct a weapon before you select anouther.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uninstallation:
1-insert the rainbow6 cd.
2-open it up in explorer.
3-drag and drop the data\kit, data\text and data\character folders from your cd to your data folder on your hard drive. Do NOT drag and drop any other folders because they will interfere with your official RSE patches
