AK-47's Xen entities example map
********************************

	ABOUT
*************

I made this map because I have gotten several questions on how
to use some of the various Xen entities, especially xen_plantlight.
Hopefully this map will clear up any questions on Xen entities you
may have.

	MAP INFO
****************

The map is a hollow block with a 'sky' texture as the ceiling
(refer to the tutorials section for information on skies and
environmental lighting) and textures from xen.wad on the walls and
floor. There are 6 Xen entities all together. I have placed each of the
individual entities along the walls. In front of each entity is a
simple sign that tells the name of the entity. The only other entities
in the map are the light_environment entity, the info_player_start
entity, and many infodecal entities to make up the words on the signs.

	ENTITY INFO/USAGE
*************************

Xen_spore: There are 3 xen_spore entities in total, each a
different size: xen_spore_small, xen_spore_medium, xen_spore_large.
Xen_spore is simply for decoration; you musn't mess around with any
KEYs or flags.

Xen_tree: Xen_tree is the stalk-like tree that lashes out when
you get near it. You don't need to worry about any keys, but you should
definately change the Angle using the 'compass' in its properties. The
angle you set will be the facing of the tree when the map starts.

	Xen_hair: Xen_hair is a tiny swaying 'hair'-like plant that
is only for ambience. You only have to worry about one flag with
xen_hair, and that is 'Sync movement'. Every xen_hair in your level
that has this flag checked will move in unison. You will mostly want to
use this with patches of xen_hairs, so it looks like they are in the
same 'breeze'.

Xen_plantlight: Xen_plantlight is one of those small stalks
with a glowing ball at the top. Normally the xen_plantlight is swaying
and glowing, but when you approach it it retracts and it's light turns
off. In order to make it eminate light, you must put a light entity
just above the xen_plantlight. Give the light a name, and make the
plantlight trigger that name. Now, the light will turn off whenever the
plant retracts. You can also fiddle with the Render Color and the
Render Ammount of the xen_plantlight to give it a nice glow effect.
