Installation and Usage

To install the Rocket Crowbar MOD, just extract the included files into your half-life
directory, usually "C:\serra\half-life\", to use it start up half-life then goto "Custom Game"
and select "Rocket Crowbar" then click "Activate" then click "Done" and play as normal.
No maps will appear, this a bug I cannot fix, so just start a game as normal, when it says
"map unknown not found on server" or something similar, type "map x", x being the name
of the map you wish to play, example "Crossfire" or "Bounce".  NOTE you must have
version 1.0.1.3 of half-life for this mod to work.



Features

See the web page's weapon list for the list of weapon changes.  Also there are several new
console variables, available in the "Advanced" section, under explanatory names, of the
game config, these are:

"mp_ctf"		Toggle (0/1) disables/enables ctf based gameplay, see below

"mp_flag_return_time"	If CTF gameplay is enabled, this variable controls how long
dropped flags take to return, when 0 they never return. (in seconds)

"mp_points_per_capture"	If CTF gameplay is enabled, how many points the team and
the capturing player get for that capture

"mp_drunkrockets"	Toggle (0/1) disables/enables "drunken" crowbar fired rockets

"sv_pregameobserver"	Toggle (0/1) disables/enables the pre-game observer mode,
must be enabled for the poll to function

"sv_poll"		Toggle (0/1) disables/enables the poll, shown while in
pre-game observer mode.  Loads the question from "poll_question.txt" in the
Rocket Crowbar directory.  Loads possible answers from "poll_answers.txt"
also in the Rocket Crowbar directory, answers are seperated by colins.  
It writes the answers to "poll_response.txt" which are in the same order as the
questions and are also seperated by colins.  Demonstrations of these files
are included.

NOTE: setting "mp_falldamage" to two (2) disables falling damage

The following are new client side commands, they can be used by all clients.  Some
are loacted under, "Multiplayer", "Customize", "Advanced Options"

"cl_autoid"		Toggle (0/1) disables/enables auto id'ing of
players

"weaponinfo"		When followed by the name of a weapon, it gives information
about it



CTF (Capture the Flag) mode

This gameplay mode is controlled by the console variable "mp_ctf", see above.  For CTF
gameplay to be enabled "mp_ctf" must be 1 and the teamlist must contain at least 2 teams
and at most 6 teams, and teamplay must be enabled.  If this is true, depending on the
number of teams, flags will be created throughout the level, each flag has a colored "shell"
around it, the flag's "shell" color is dependant on it "owning" team.  To pickup a flag,
simply walk over it, you cannot carry more than one flag.  Flag carriers have a "shell" of
the color of the flag they are caring.  To return a dropped flag, if it is your own, simply
walk over it.  To capture the flag you are caring, walk over your flag, if it is at your
"base".  The goal of this mode is to score as many TEAM points as possible.

Known Bugs

In the create game screen, no maps are listed, this is NOT my problem, it is a bug valve
has not fixed yet, so don't e-mail me about this.  In case you are wondering, this occurs
because half-life will only LIST maps in the maps directory of the mod, so if you want to
fix this, put copies of the maps in "\rockcrowbar\maps\"

Sometimes flags spawn right next to each other, this is a result of how I am determining
their positions, but with 3 or less it usually works fine, with 2 it almost always works well.

Ocasionaly, the death cam will not work, that is you will look strait down at your feet. Does
NOT effect gameplay just you dont always get a good view.

This is not really a bug but, I know the flag model is bad, I am not a great modeler, and I
dont want to rip off a valve model.  So if you can do better, please send me a model, I
will give you full credit for it.  If possible, send me it with 6 skins, one for each team color,
they go in this order "Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Orange" Thanks.  NOTE: DO
NOT send me a reskined, or even not, TFC flag model.
