   Half-Life Single Player Episode: Haunted
=====================================================================

I didn't want to die. So I said I'd work for that man in the suit. Now I'm in
this room - this motel-like room. But the door has no handle, and it won't open. It has
a window in it, so they can see me. I've been in here for too long.
They woke me up a few minutes ago, and told me to put the hazard suit on. It's
in the shower - I was trying to clean it. I'm sitting on the bed now. The suit says it's
5:00am. The sun hasn't come up yet - why do they want me now?
There's a security guard at the door, and he's opening it.
He wants me to follow him ...

------Credits and Thanks---------------------------------------------

Thanks to Avelanche for putting haunted.zip up on the clan website
(Go visit it, there's some cool stuff, if you like funny articles).

Also thanks to the Half-Life Editing Resource Centre (http://halflife.gamedesign.net/)
for their excellent Worldcraft 2.0 tutorials.

Finally, thanks to all the people whose prefabs I used, modified, or got ideas from.
You made my job a lot easier. They were (and I hope I don't forget anyone):
Carlos Salgado, Dave Waters, Woof UK, Freddy Kruger, Revolver, Yak_Fighter,
Carsten Schwartz, Dire Wolf, Slasher, Killa9[CwO], xKinetiCx, Kevin Quang
and the Valve team.

------Additional Info, Tips, and Notes-------------------------------

When you get to the outside bit on the street, with a jeep across the road,
DRIVE THE JEEP - you'll get blown up if you try and do this level on foot.
It takes two jumps to get in the jeep - just keep your cool. It's fun once
you're in - watch all the surrounding vehicles for the fireworks.
There are some sections where things are a bit hairy, from a bugs point
of view. Save your game often. If somehow you get stuck (Eg: by stopping a door
from opening), just load your game, and do things differently, or again. Simple, really.

------Map Instructions-----------------------------------------------

Unzip the files in this archive into the X:\half-life\valve\ directory.
(Where X is your hard-drive letter)
If you already have a file called pak1.pak in there, rename the pak1 file from
the haunted.zip archive pak2, or pak3 if necessary (you get the idea).

Open half-life with the console operating (use this command-line):
[X:\Half-Life\hl.exe -console] (Where X is your hard-drive letter),
open the console, and type map pagan1a.

Once you've finished playing
my episode, you will probably want to remove my pak file from the X:\half-life\valve
directory. (Where X is your hard-drive letter).
