To extract
==========
This is important!! Extract maze.bsp to your Half-Life/valve/maps directory. Extract maze.nod to the maps/graphs directory. This is important if you don't want it to give you that annoying "node graph out of date" message.

Description
===========
This is my second map ever for any game... Pretty good for a second try, I'd say.
It's a scientist killing map, brought to you by the SKC (Which I also made the logo for, BTW =).

To "activate" the grunts in the corner, step up to the hole in the glass just enough for them to see you. Move away, and watch the carnage begin!

If you want to kill the scis yourself, impulse 101 yourself some weapons first (I bind it to a key, so I can replenish myself easily). I didn't provide any because putting them all in one space slowed it down to a slideshow, and respawning the ammo was a pain. Move over to the grunt corner, but don't let them see you. Get about directly over them. Charge up your gauss cannon to the fullest level, and aim it at the head of their fearless leader. Release, and it should gib all 3.

I might make a multiplayer version with a larger maze, if you ask nicely. =)

Fun things to do
================
Go to each respawn point and shoot the sci in the foot with your pistol (or MP5, since it does less damage). Repeat this until the maximum alotted 5 scientists are running around madly. Do this for each respawn point, and you should have 20 scientists running around. Now hunt them down using only your pistol.

Stand on the glass above a respawn point with your gauss. Charge it up minimally (that is, hit secondary fire and quickly release) and unload it into the scientist's head. You can gib 100 scientists without having to reload.

If you do item number one, there may be some scis left over in the maze. To clean them out, find them by looking down on them from the glass above. Now kill them the same way you killed the scientists in way #2, the secondary fire of the gauss will go through glass (And walls, which is way #4).

Stand on the other side of a wall where you know a scientist is. Charge up your gauss and let 'er rip through the wall.

As you can see, I REALLY like the gauss cannon. =)

Bugs
====
The grunts are simply too stupid unless you're on the hard difficulty level. (Not really a bug, but worth mentioning)
Decals appear on both sides of walls.
Some texture mis-alignments that I was too lazy to fix.

Compiling
=========
Compiling took 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 42 seconds, broken down as follows:

Qcsg 8 secs
Qbsp 35 secs
Vis 2 hours, 9 minutes, 23 seconds
Qrad 7 minutes, 36 seconds

There are 209 info_nodes in the level, and 100 lights.

That's all folks!! Email me comments, questions, and all that other stuff.
