		         How to get started

UnZipping : Start by unzipping the "dmember.zip" file
onto your hard drive. The desktop is a good
place to put the files temporarily.
: WinZip is available from www.winzip.com

File locations : Put the file "dmember.bsp" into the usual
			  "\Half-Life\valve\maps" folder.

Experienced users	: Run Half-Life using "hl.exe +map dmember",
or type "map dmember" at the console, please
keep the case the same or it may not work.
			: Any problems, e-mail mkrobinson@lineone.net

Beginners : Look in your "\Half-Life\" folder, you
should find a file named "hl.exe".
: Create a shortcut to this.
: Right click on the shortcut and choose
			  "Properties".
: There will be a section named "Target", add
"-console" to the end of the text
already in the box. Be careful to keep what
			  is already in the box.
: If you open this shortcut it should load
Half-life and a icon labelled "Console"
should appear, click on this, wait for it
to load and then type "map dmember"
: If this doesn't work then please consult
			  your doctor or "mkrobinson@lineone.net"

* Known Bugs *

I could not get the first turret you meet to work for you, not that
it doesn't work for somebody else though, nudge, nudge, nink, wink.

Those vents are MASSIVE, but I don't have the time/inclination to
make them smaller.

If you can't get the second turret to work, look down at it.

* Things to look out for *

Go to the Barney and the Scientist, standing together when you first
enter the level. Use them, the Barney is the funniest.

Check the 1st door you come to, It has a surprise, I put it in
because I thought it didn't get enough appreciation in Optimum Fear.

* HOW SHORT!?! *

Yes, this is a small map, but it has plenty of features to keep people
busy.

* Feedback on Optimum Fear *

I think my score for Optimum Fear from Radium was slightly low (If you
haven't got it yet, download it from any good map site now) so I
need people to answer a few questions - Is it too short? What are
the bad points? What are the good points? What could have been done
to improve it? AND What do you want from a custom level?

The more comments / criticisms the better and don't hesitate to reply,
I answer all emails. Your help is greatly needed for a better sequel
and to repair my already disintegrated self-esteem. The best replies
will get the exclusive rights to playtest the sequel with [BAH]Wolfy
and [YTM]Mirage.
