This is a beta test for the Halflife mod War in Europe. War in Europe is currently a mutiplayer only mod.

Installation
============
-NOTE!! THIS PATCH MUST BE EXTRACTED INTO YOUR WIE FOLDER
-Extract the files from the zip into a folder in your Half-Life directory called WIE.
-Make sure you extract with directory structure enabled
-Run halflife and select CUSTOM GAME and choose War in Europe.

How to Play
===========

1. Rules

	War in Europe has a new set of rules for teamplay. In order to be able to get new weapons your "frag" ammount must be a perticular number to allow you to select a new weapon from the menu. Here are the current values.

		1. Rifles = 		((No Restriction.))

			A. M1 Garand

			B. Mauser 


		2. Sub Machine Guns =	((3 Frags))

			A. Thompson

			B. Sten

			C. MP40

			D. MP44

		3. Sniper Rifles = 	((9 frags))

			A. Springfield

			B. Mauser

		4. Machine Guns = 	((11 frags))

			A. Browning Automatic Rifle

			B. MG 42

	If your frag limit drops below these ammounts then the weapon will no longer be available. If your deathlimit begins to become rediculously more then your frags you will also then loose your weapon.

	Another rule that has been implemented is a new spawning system for teamplay. Each player has a certain number of "lives" which is set by the server. When a player uses up all of these lives he is then spawned into observer mode and cannot return to the game until all his fellow teammates use up their lives as well. Then when all players use up their reinforcements they all get spawned back together.

***NOTE TO MAP MAKERS

I included a warineurope.ol prefab file for the spawn points, game entites, and ammo. One thing you will have to do in order to make the maps work if you decide to make a custom map is in worldcraft go to MAP PROPERTIES and make sure Smartedit is off, and add a key called "mapteams" and give it a value of "allies;axis".

	This brings up the menu to change your weapon

	This enables a remote user to have access to some server variables for clan server situations

	Allows an admin to change a game cvar

	Allows an admin to restart the server

	Allows an admin to change the level

freeze
	Allows for punishment of annoying Team Killers or effective disposal of people from rival clans

unfreeze
	Allows for forgiveness of those who have repented from their evil ways

CURRENT SERVER CONSOLE VARIABLES
================================

mp_reinforcements
	This is the number of reinforcements (lives) a player has before they must wait for 	their team to die
	
	Possible values:
		1 - Infinite

	Recommended value: 1

mp_respawndelay
	This is the number of seconds a player must wait after dying before coming back in 	the game.  This is ignored if mp_respawninstantly is 1.
		
	Possible values:
		0 - Infinite

	Recommended value: 5

mp_giveallcertainweapon
	This is a variable that allows the server to have a "Sniper Only Mode" game where 	all players are given sniper weapons.  Depending on the value set, this can be set 	to "Machine Guns Only Mode" or "Hand Guns Only Mode".
	
	Possible values:
		0 - Disabled
		1 - Rifles Only Mode
		2 - Small Submachine Gun Only Mode
		3 - Medium Submachine Gun Only Mode
		4 - Machine Gun Only Mode
		5 - Sniper Only Mode
		9999 - Handguns Only Mode

	Recommended value: 0

mp_respawnallafterround
	This toggle variable determines if both teams respawn after a round finishes or only 	the losing team.  If it is on then both teams will respawn.  Turning it on 	eliminates people sitting at respawn points and blowing people away with a machine 	gun.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 1

mp_giveallweapons
	This toggle gives all players access to all weapons.  This toggle will prevent 	people who have been in the game for long periods of time from decimating the other 	players.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 0

mp_deathscount
	This toggle determines whether or not deaths are figured into calculations for ranks 	and enabling of the weapons.  If this is on, you can be demoted from your current 	rank.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 1
	
mp_ranksenabled
	This toggle determines whether or not a player should have a rank tag in front of 	their name on the score board.  If this is off, the player also will not recieve 	notification messages regarding their promotions and demotions.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 1

mp_respawninstantly
	This variable determines whether or not a player has reinforcements.  If it is on he 	respawns right after dying and never goes into observer mode.  This varialbe 	supercedes mp_respawnallafterround.  This should be on for servers will large 	numbers of people playing to prevent excessively long wait times.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 1

mp_ghostnoclip
	This variable determines whether or not an observer can fly around and go through 	walls.  If it is on then they can fly.  If off they walk around normally but can not 	interact with the environment.

	Possible values:
		0 - Off
		1 - On

	Recommended value: 1
