* Description *

A United States Army Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk troop transport helicopter. Featuring fully rotational main/tail rotors, detailed cockpit and cabin. This is version 2.1 of my Blackhawk with lots of changes, mainly astetic. I realized after much thought (and after seeing the one used in Team Fortress 2) that the orginal just didn't look right and that I could do alot better. Here is a list of what has changed.

1)Lengthed cabin - more accurate with real Blackhawk
2)Redesigned main/tail rotors with lower face count
3)Removal of rocket pods and wings (if you liked them just cut and paste them back on) - I did this because the real one normally doesn't carry the External Support System (ESS) unless it is on a ferry flight, plus the wings were WAY wrong.
4)Redesigned cockpit - more better visibility and better looking
5)More accurate landing gear - The old gear was also way incorrect in its placement.
6)New more accurate engines -I personally think the old ones looked like micky mouse ears!
7)Re-textured interior - Hey I'm getting better at this texturing thing!
8)Sliding side access doors - operate via buttons inside/outside fuselage.
9>v2.1 notes - the only difference between 2.0 is that I removed the trigger multiples and replaced them with func_buttons to reduce face count even more!

There are other small changes and such but those are the major ones. For convienence sake I have included two versions of this prefab, one with and one without doors. The one without doors has 127 less faces and is more accessible in deathmatch type situations or if you intend to mount some door guns :) The original did not feature the sliding doors, I added them for those of you who like detail. Re-texture as you like but for once I have to say that the texturing is pretty good for this particular aircraft because the paint job on the real one is a similar olive drab.

Note: After over 1500 downloads and several comments I decided to release an updated and better looking version of my most popular (and first ever) helicopter prefab so far (the title of most popular still goes to my first Cargoplane prefab). I normally don't do multiple versions of my prefabs because I don't like to release a prefab until it is completely done and that I am completely satisfied with it. I'm making an exception with this one because after looking at it more closely I realised how "newbie" it looked. The first one was done out of pure inspiration without any reference materials so that kinda explains it "newbie" look.
