	  Internet Descent ][ Level Contest

This contest was long in comming, it represents the effort of many,
I like to think of it as by Descent'rs for Descent'rs.
There are hundreds even thousands of levels for both versions but
these levels are among the best availible on the Internet today!

There are levels that when you slip into them you feel like you just might
actually be there. Well my friends the contestants and winners of the IDLC
will undoubtedly be the ULTIMATE levels in each of the 4 categories.

So if you haven't taken your pyro into these mines then you haven't seen
the best!

This completed form MUST to be included with all entries.

          Level File Name...: kunning.zip
          Game Version......: D2 ver 1.2
          Mission Name......: Kunning
          Date Finished.....: 3-27-98

          ----LEVEL DESCRIPTION----

This is a 4 level mission containing the following levels:

ReKaffinated
BloodThirsty PyroManiacs
Kastle of the Eclipse
Kannibal Kanyon

All game modes are supported except co-op, and single player is kinda boring
since there are no robots. It's still fun to fly around by yourself and take
a look. After all, one of the best things about these levels is the eye kandy.
Levels 1 and 3 feature a new player ship while in levels 2 and 4 the pyros
have eyes and teeth. There are no earth shaker missles, invulnerabilities,
cloaks, helix cannons, or phoenix cannons in these levels. I did however, put
a pack of smart mines in level 2, and a mega missle in level 4.

ReKaffinated: This is a medium sized dogfighting/tactical level. It's very 3D
in design. Many of the rooms have plenty of vertical space. The main room
also has some beams supporting the ceiling that you may have to manuver
through during a fight. The Gauss cannon is hidden in a secret door. I'll
leave it up to you to find it. I also did not put in any spreadfire cannons.

BloodThirsty PyroManiacs: This level's kinda big, but it usually doesn't take
long to find your opponent, even in a 1 on 1. There are some pretty
intersting features in this level.... You won't see any lights in here, but
there are plenty of torches to light up the errie architecture such as a huge
skull, with blood pouring out of the mouth. There are hostages but you can't
rescue em this time. You can put them out of their misery though >=]. The
pyros have blood on their teeth, and glowing yellow eyes.
There are 2D and 3D dogfighting rooms as well as tunnels and places to camp
out and guide missles.
Don't miss out on the exit sequence.

Kastle of the Eclipse: This level is the smallest of the 4. You'll be sure to
give your wrist a workout in here (assuming you use a joystick) cuz the action
never stops. There is, of course, a castle (or you could say kastle) in this
level. It looks pretty cool, and the layout is great for ambushes as well as
dogfighting.

Kannibal Kanyon: Blow your friends away in a water filled canyon (err, kanyon)
while an eratic lightning storm brews around you. The layout is a bit
confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it. There is 1 mega missle in
here. It's kinda hidden but it's not to hard to find. You can fly above the
clouds in the big room. (I like to sit up there and guide missles >=)
