============= INSTALLATION ================

	Copy Team Hoard.d3m to Descent3\netgames\

	Well, that's easy, isn't it?

============= RULES OF THE GAME ============

Object of Game:
	Score points for your team by collecting HoardOrbs
	and returning them to your team's goal.

Collecting Orbs:

	When a player dies, he drops an orb of his team's
	color, and all the other Orbs he has collected thus
	far (in their original colors).

	Upon contact with an orb, a player will pick-up that
	orb if it is not one of his team's own. If it is
	an orb from that player's team, it is destroyed.

	Example:

	1) A Blue player collects a red and green orb.
	2) He then dies and drops the red and green orbs
		plus a blue orb.
	3) A Blue player rushes in and touches the blue orb,
		which gets destroyed.
	4) A Red player also rushes in, and scoops up the green
		orb, and touches the red orb, destroying it.

	Note: It is in your best interest to destroy team orbs
	before collecting other orbs, because you will be preventing
	another team from scoring a good deal of points.

	Untouched orbs float indefinately.

Scoring:

	Team members score by flying into the team base. The orbs
	they are carrying register ever increasing points (just like
	in Hoard), so 1 orb yields 1 point; 2 orbs, 3 points (1+2);
	3 orbs, six points (1+2+3) and so on.

	If a teammate scores, another team mate can make a combination
	score by adding his own orbs onto the first team member's orbs
	for additional points. This must be done in a set period of
	time, usually 8 seconds.

	For Example:

	Red Player 1 scores with 3 orbs. That yields 6 points. (1+2+3)
	Red Player 2 scores with 2 orbs, adding 9 more points (4+5)

	If there are fewer goals than teams, any team can score in any goal.
	If there are an equal number of goals and teams, teams must
	score in their own goal (which is colored with team colors).

================== DEDICATED SERVER ==================

	To run a dedicated Server, simply install the game
	as described above, then modify your dedicated.cfg
	file by making sure the Scriptname line reads:

	Scriptname=Team Hoard

	You may also want to adjust the number of teams. To
	do this, include a line in the config file stating:

	NumTeams=?

	Where the ? is a number between 1 and 4.

	Once the server has been run once, it will create a file
	called Team Hoard.cfg. By modifying this file, you may
	customize the same settings that can be customized when
	hosting a normal game. These include the minimum number of
	orbs to score, the maximum number of orbs that can be held,
	and the amount of time teammates have to add their orbs on
	to a score. We call this "Chording Time", but it should
	not be confused with moving in 2 or more directions at once!

	An example "Team Hoard.cfg" follows:

	------------------- Team Hoard.cfg ------------------
		[Settings]
		"Minimum to Score"="1"
		"Maximum Orbs"="12"
		"Chording Time"="8"

	------------------- Team Hoard.cfg ------------------

	Make sure to keep the "'s aroung the numbers, just as
	in the example above!

============ KNOWN ISSUES / BUG REPORTS ========================

	HUD Message Beeps:

		Every once in a while while playing a game, we would all
	here a HUD message beep, (this is the sound played when someone
	is chatting, or someone joins the game). We believe this is from
	people who do not have the mod trying to join into the game.
	Because of this, there really isn't much we can do about except
	make everyone download the mod, right???

	"Disconnected" shows on HUD

		I believe this is similar to the above bug, where people
	without the mod are getting kicked out. I'm not sure though.

	Other Bugs

		Please submit any bug reports to our email addresses (just
	one is fine!) below. Please be as specific as you can as to the
	bug. For example, please tell us how many were playing, was anyone
	disconnected before the bug happened, how to repeat the bug if
	possible. Did everyone in the game experience it, or just one
	person? The more descriptive, the better!
