*Descent 2 Add-On Mission*

Release date: 9/20

=Eon Level 2 (Malevolence)=

=Description=

The Eon levels are designed to work best in flag play mode
and especially in team flag games. There will be a total
of 8 levels when the series is complete, all of which will
be of the highest quality. The first four levels will
allow any number of players to participate, with teams being
a bonus and playing with them will certainly be advised but
not required for flag games. The last four will require
teamwork in order to score the flag. That is, it will be
impossible (or next to it) to score without a teammate to
work with.

The final compilation, Eon X, will include all 8 levels in
one HOG as well as a new MIDI soundtrack for those who are
interested.

*Malevolence*

Both the red and blue bases are behind locked doors at the
bottom of the level. In order to open the doors (both open
at the same time) you must fly up and around the "arms" of
the level and then down through the middle. Note that you
must actually fly as fast as you possibly can especially on
the last stretch of the run. In fact, unless you have an
afterburner, the last part (from the top section of the
level to the doors that protect the bases) is nearly
impossible to complete. It is *possible*, just extremely
difficult, and sliding is required.

There are only two afterburners, so you should usually
try to get them first before scoring. This shouldn't be
much of a problem for two players as there will be no one
to steal the other AB, but if you have four or more players
you'll definitely want to use teamwork even if you do have
the afterburners. Just have the guy with the flag wait in
the lower room and have him score when the runner finishes
opening all the doors.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Using MARKERS is cheating on this level. I
wish there was a way to have doors close on them, but there
isn't so I just have to tell you straight out. If you see
any marker blocking any door, please deal with the situation.
If you can't resolve the situation then just leave the game.
If they can't play fair don't play with them. BTW, you can
only have 2 markers per person so just have them lay two new
ones and the old ones will disappear. (You can still use
them as cameras, just don't block doors with 'em)

This level works well with just about any even number of
players, but 4 to 6 players are ideal.
