
                                   Kordial

                                July 23, 1998

    A huge spacecraft named 'Kordial' crashed in the polar region of the
planet 'Kalusa'.  Large deposits of Kopper and Krome were found in the area.
The Kordial was made into a mining factory since it was no longer useable
as a space vehicle.

    Actually, this is just a new multiplayer level by Kruel with the usuall
load of eye kandy and everything else you have all come to expect.  What I did
was combine some of the cool architecture of Kortege, with the textures from
Klash of the Elements, as well as some new ideas to really spice things up
(you gotta see the reactor room).  The level is also very interconnected with
different shaped and sized dogfighting rooms.  The player ships are the same
ones as used in ReKaff2, and The Kryllidian Krusade.  The Fusion cannon shots
and Shield powerups are the same as used in Klash.

    Kordial works fine for 2 to 6 players (any more and it'll be a total
slaughterhouse).  Hoard is supported, but flag is not.  The hoard goal is
easily recognizable and is in the center of the level.  The level itself, is
symmetric.  Even the weapon and ship placement is symmetric.  While there
aren't really any secrets, it is possible to go under the water to reach other
parts of the level.  The weapon loadout is nothing really heavy, except for a
pack of Smart Mines, and a Phoenix Cannon.  There are very few missles, so
it's more of a primary weapon shootout.
