FINDMIX v1.0 (C) Gavin Pugh 1997
------------

Usage : FINDMIX J:\MAIN.MIX (or whatever MIX file)
When finished (can take a while), writes FINDMIX.OFS with all offsets

IT IS 'VERY' SLOW, please do something else while it's working, you'll not
be missing anything, as it writes to a file afterwards. For a 10mb file it
only takes a few seconds, but it takes 5-10 minutes for a 400mb file. Sorry
about it being such a slow engine, but is does to job very well, and never
comes up with rogue offsets, and never misses ANY.
You can press 'ESC' to stop at any time.

REMEMBER TO COPY THE FINDMIX.OFS FILE SOMEWHERE SAFE, WHEN YOU'VE FINISHED
Otherwise subsequent uses of FINDMIX will overwrite the OFS file.

This utility searches a specified MIX file, and produces a file
compatible with RAmixer, and also one of which I can make use of
with R.A.C.K.

Remember to run this on both Soviet and Allies CD's AND, you'll also
be able to extract files from the Counterstrike CD with this

You are welcome to POST TO THE RA CONSTRUCTION YARD MESSAGE BOARD
at http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Arcade/5553
Don't email them to me, just check to see if they're already at the
message board, if they're not, please post them there

I do already have US/English offsets, and the French offsets
although no German offsets have been found yet. It would be
nice if I had a 'second opinion' for the US/English and French
ones, just to make sure...

Another note : INFANTRY.MIX is an 'imaginary file' used by RACK
it is inside REDALERT.MIX, at a different place for each language
version.

These MIX files are recognised by FINDMIX:
TEMPERAT.MIX
CONQUER.MIX
SNOW.MIX
RUSSIAN.MIX
INTERIOR.MIX
ALLIES.MIX
EXPAND.MIX
REDALERT.MIX
EDHI.MIX
EDLO.MIX
GENERAL.MIX

This is FREEWARE - Freely distributable, but DO NOT modify anything!
