R.A.C.K. Quickstart Guide
-------------------------

This small text has been provided for those who had little idea of how actually it works

Skirmish Maps
-------------

Well, under the options menu, go to 'Scenario Settings', here make sure the Player Side
is set to 'Greece', and a suitable name for the map is chosen.
Other than these, leave everything else alone.

Now, you can place the structures be choosing which side you want that structure to
be owned by, and the units in the same way. The player the human plays is always 'Multi1',
so choose Multi1 in the side combo box at the bottom of the screen, then place YOUR
items on the map.

The enemy structures/units depend on the number of AI players chosen. 1 AI Player would
mean the enemy is Multi2, and 2 AI players would have 2 enemies, Multi2 and Multi3. This
always goes this way, although the computer *I think* randomizes itself whether these
enemy sides are soviet/allies.

Remember that a Skirmish mission only ends if you've destroyed all Multi2-8 players on
the map, (or if a win trigger is fired, but don't worry)
You can however, create other country sides using Netural, England, USSR, and so on without
affecting the MultiX sides. Even if you pick England as your side in Skirmish, you will
always be called Multi1 in the game.

Once you've done this, save it with .MPR as the extension, in the Redalert directory,
and you can play it as a normal Skirmish map.

Also, remember not to load/save this map using the offical RA terrain editor, or you'll
lose the units/structures. You can edit the terrain however, and save it with a different
name. Then in RACK, load the original MPR (with the buildings), and use 'Import Terrain..'
to load up that newly made terrain from the RA terrain editor. Then save this file.

NB. For those who know, waypoint 98 is ALWAYS the top-left when the mission starts,
however, I think this is different for Proper Multiplayer maps (Network/Modem)

And use Waypoint 0 for the Multi1 start pos, Waypoint 1 for the Multi2 start pos etc...
Note that the Windows '95 version doesn't seem to follow this unless you've got buildings/
units already set down around these waypoints. Although if you set Units to 0 on the
config screen, it should place the MCV at each specified waypoint on any RA version.

Multiplayer Maps (i.e. Network / Modem / Null Modem)
----------------------------------------------------

Anyone care to to help here, this takes ages to test, and the other PC I use to play
network games with is only running DOS RA, so there may be unforseen probs here.
I *think* all human players would go first (Multi1, Multi2....) then the AI players.

Scenarios (Single player missions)
