Stuff you may wanna read
------------------------
Believe it or not, this is a TRUE STORY...yes, every single bit of it!
Yes, in this mission, one of your prime objective is rescuing someone.
Guess what? I did something similar two months ago. Believe me, the
rescue op was...hard, but atleast it ***paid off*** well. Let's see how
YOU survive the circumstances and dangers I did during my operation.
Consider yourself lucky! I'm giving you orcas and apaches to back you up!
I had nothing but my fist. However, I hate to tell you the feeling you
get from a rescue op will never be the same to you. There is no feeling
greater than rescuing someone from danger (in my case, saving someone from
6 armed rebels). Let me also tell you one more thing: I ain't no commando
nor a special forces guy.

Mission Description
-------------------
MAXIMUM OPERATION OVERKILL: NOD terrorists have kidnapped the daughter of
the UN secretary general. This kind of action will not be tolerated! Your
nearest available resource is a special forces commando near our airfield.
Use him to rescue the daughter of the secretary general. After you have
done that, seek and destroy the lead kidnapper codenamed PALIN. He is
probably hiding in their base of operations. Be careful as you proceed.
We got a small assault force ready, but do the rescue op first.

Level Description
-----------------
This level is designed for experienced players who are good with commando
missions, but who also like a little bit of building.

Usage
-----
If you are uncomfortable messing around with the original game files, a
savegame has been provided. If you don't want your original savegame
erased, just backup the original.

Other Information
-----------------
This is the first mission I've ever designed. I wanted to make it playable
yet challenging. The problem with many commando missions is that the player
does not get to build anything at all. So, I've added some building options
with a commando mission.

Glitches
--------
I don't think there exists any. Although this is not my glich, I'd like
to note it down. In many savegames of C&C I noticed something about the
Helipads. When you click on the pad, the copter does'nt respond. This can
be easily corrected. Just square out the helipad and the copter will respond.
I noticed this glich with version 1.19 and not 1.07.

Hints:
------
-Follow instructions carefully! Do the rescuing with the commando first!.
-Keep losses minimal...try not to waste ANY one of your assault forces
-Helicopters work best when SAM sites are nullified (no kidding). Keep this
in mind and deal with any stray SAM sites you encounter appropriately.
-Keep the commando alive at all times!

Troubleshooting:
----------------

1. After I downloaded MAXIMUM OPERATION OVERKILL, the entire map of level 15c
has been replaced. I want to play the original mission again.
To do so, you just need Vladan Bato's MIXMAN. What you do is extract the files
SCG15EC.MAP and SCG15EC.INI. Now, get out of MIXMAN and type map-p general.mix
SCG15EC.map. The offset value is 002BF5DD. The other option, is ofcourse just
replacing the original in the MIXMAN program.

2. Then, do I have to keep on doing this kind of thang if I want to play
MOO again?
No. A savegame has been supplied (savegame.022). If you already have a
savegame under this name, then rename it.

Thanks to...
------------
Andrew Griffin-Thanks for starting the whole idea
Vladan Bato-I could'nt have done it without MIXMAN
Jeroen Ritmeijer & Richard Heesbeen-CCMAP...it was very user-friendly with
graphical interphase. Without it, I would have to hack through mountains of code.
Prats, Mike, Peems: Thanks for testing it out
