This is the full version of a patch that during it's beta stage
was know alternately as The Great Crate Race and Crater Wars.

Sometime in the near future (a couple centuries), and towards 
the closing of the Great Wars of Desolation, one secret research
installation was on the breakthrough of breaking the secret of
time travel backwards in time, an ideal way to win a war: to be
able to go back and correct any mistakes in any battle, guaranteeing
a victory in every battle, and therefore the war. Unfortunately, 
a saboteur managed to corrupt the final test, the the result was
thateverything within that region was flung far into the future,
so far that all the planets resources had been stripped and humanity
had moved on to other worlds, leaving Earth a desolate waste.
In addition to the research station being transported to this time,
warring factions from two other periods of Earth's history were
scooped out of the time continuum and deposited far from anything
they had known before. One pair, Allies and Soviets, and the other
pair, GDI and NOD, found themselves all thrown into the pot with these
strangers from the future. There WAS a way to return to the past
from whence they had come, but there was only enough power to send
one faction back. So the race began...

An interesting side effect of the time transportation device was that
remaining "aftershocks" would still fling objects from the past into
the current period. Included in these unstable pockets of misplaced 
time (that look curiously like crates) are more units that got flung
far forward, upgrades in weaponry, armor, and speed, cloaking
technology, full maps, invulnerability, the occasional box of
exploding napalm, and most of all cash. Each cash box will give you
1000 to 2000 dollars, and this money is needed, because even the 
metals in the earth needed to build tanks is extremely scarce, so
prices are very high.

Everyone can build the mini-gunner and rocker soldier.
Buildings are free except for the radar dome and repair bay.
Construction yard is undeployable and fast, in case you need to move in
a hurry, or all your units get blown up (you can get money and a second
chance).

Play always with crates ON and at least 2000 starting credits.
This rules.ini patch was designed for multiplayer games, preferrably
more that two players. If you find that you aren't having much fun against
he AI (or even against one human opponent), this is why.

>>>>Installing<<<<
To install the rules.ini patch, simply rename it from warped.ini to rules.ini
after placing it in your main Red Alert directory. To install the C&C Units
mix file, please read Chuck's documentation that is included.

You MUST have Chuck's C&C Units mix file. You can find this at Chuck's Red Alert

Follow any instructions on the page and in the included documentation on
how to install it. You NEED RA-MIXER! Otherwise you will not be able to 
use the units from C&C1, and the game will most likely crash. I will not 
offer any help to anyone who hasn't at least tried to install Chuck's mix file.
You should also have Red Alert 1.07e. I haven't used Ants or any Ant structures, 
but I used the "Name=" field extensively, and without it you may get a little
lost about what you're building.

The AI will build units, but will not search out crates, so playing with AI
will be a limited challenge, and playing with seven is suggested.

>>>>The Long Road Home<<<<
This is the map that is included with the rules.ini patch. It has no money,
so it will not be very useful for anything but C&C Time Warped. You may not
edit this map in any way without the express permision of the author (me).

>>>>Read Level Makers!<<<<
If you would like to create single player mission packs based on this rules.ini
and storyline, please contact me! I think the objective to capture the temporal
gate (Chronoshere) from the Muscovites' hands would make an interesting 
campaign from all the other four sides, as would the Muscovites' own efforts
to fend off four oncoming forces trying to steal their only ticket home.
I would undertake this endeavor myself, but I barely have enough time to produce
this rules.ini, much less to produce 5 high quality mission packs (of preferrably
at least three levels long).

Just because this worked fine on my computer does not guarantee that this
will work perfectly on yours. I will not and can not be responisible if
any damages are caused because of this rules.ini patch. Be assured, though,
that many other people have used the C&C Units mix file with no problems.
